What is Nuwaupu? By Seon

Most people I talk to in Grenada and other places do not understand what is Nuwaubu. As a Nuwaupian let me make clear what someone means when they say that they are a Nuwaupian. One of the myths propragated by most Grenadians is that Nuwaupu is a religion. This can not be further from the truth. Nuwaupu is not an "ism".

Nuwaupians are black African people where ever we are. It is one of our ancient names from which the name Nubian stems from. However, on world documents Nuwaupians are recorded as Moors which means 'black'. All Black Africans are Nuwaupians, Moors or Nubians. The Nuwaupian organisation as the Garvey organisation in the 1920's sought to unite all Nuwaupians /Nubians/Moors around the world into one nation. Hence the name 'The United Nuwaupian Nation of Moors'. We have our own ancient language 'Nuwaupic'. Our own land of 'Tama-Re'. As Nuwaupians, we have to take back our ancient African culture,and re-align ourselves with our ancestors. To do this we must submerge ourselves into the studying our true culture and into knowing what we have contributed to the civilizations of this world. We were not only taught culture by Master Teacher Dr. Malachi Z York El. He as many of our master teachers taught us that to take back our true culture and identity we had to first give up the slave master's "so-called" culture.

As a result we had to submerge ourselves into studying the truth about his the slavemaster's religions which are his major tools used in brainwashing and controlling Black people. They have us praying to a god in his image. We Nuwaupains know that it is foolish not to study everything that makes up the society in which we live. Thus, Master Teacher Dr.Malachi Z York El took us through what are called "different schools" of thought. For example we went through the Islamic School where we submerged ourselves in the Islamic religion. We lived as Muslims, dressed as Muslims, studied and spoke the language, read their holy books in their languages etc., In the school of Christianity we did the same and also in the school of Judaism. Doing this gave us a first hand experience of what it is to be one of them. This gave us the facts about these religions, and as a result, gave us the ability to relate and understand their points of view. This is what it is to be a Nuwaupian. Nuwaupu is the science of SOUND RIGHT REASONING which we can only acheive by having Right Knowladge, Right Wisdom and Right Overstanding.

The African word Nuwaubu also spelled Nuwaupu also goes way back to the African Black people of Sumeria who called themslves the Black headed people and their land KI-EN-GIR meaning "land of the Guardian" as Nubun which means "before the light, presenter of news". It is from this word Nubun the Ashuric/Syriac [Arabic] word Nuwb also spell Nuwuba meaning 'Prophethood, prophecy' came and the Aramic [Hebrew] word Nebuwah meaning 'Prediction' from the root word Nuwb meaning "to sprout, to germinate" comes from. Its root is NUWB or NWB which is the name of one of our ancient African deities/Gods. We are the ones who brought civilization to this planet. Take a deeper look into the word Nuwaupu. Now alphabetical letters of all language has numerical values. For example in English Language 'A' has a value of 6, 'B' value of 12, 'C' a value of 18 and so on. In Arabic and Hebrew these values is called the Abjad. The numerical values or Abjad of the root letters of Nuwaubu are 'N'=50, 'W'=6 and 'B'=2. Now if we look at the Islamic religion which itself is derived from Christianity and Judaism, it has 99 atributes for God. God's 50th attribute is Shahiydu and means 'the witness' which is Shahada in our language Nuwaubic meaning 'to bear witness'.

God's 6th attribute is El Muw'minu and means 'the faithful' in Nuwaubic it is Amun-mul meaning 'the faithful witness' notice the word Egyptian AMUN which is the hidden one

God's 2nd attribute in Arabic is El Rahiymu meaning 'the merciful' which is Rahum-mul in Nuwaubic meaning 'merciful'.

Now let's take a look at the requirements of monotheistic religions of the west verses that of Nuwaubu. We are taught by the monotheistic religions that we have to be a Believer first. Here is what the word believe means 'to regard as true, to suppose something is true without having any facts about it'. However, Nuwaubu teaches us that we must first have facts, Right Knowledge. The the monotheistic religions teach us that first we must believe, then we have to bear 'witness' [Shahiydu] to that which we believe. Nuwaubu teaches us that we bear witness to the facts and not belief. Religion then tells us that we must put our 'faith' [El Muw'minu] into the belief we bear witness to. Nuwaubu teaches us that we put our faith in facts. Religion teaches that after you accept what you don't know or become a believer then their God will have 'mercy' [El Rahiymu] on you. Nuwaubu teaches us that mercy can only come upon you after you know the facts. It is the facts alone that can set you free. As one can see there is a fundamental difference between us Nuwaubians and religion.

Religion tells you to believe in what they teach first. Nuwaupu tells you don't believe in anything, but check it out for yourself, get the facts and the truth first.

Let me point something out here. When I say truth I am not talking about subjective truth. Subjective means 'relating to the subject, determined by; derived from, one's own mind or consciousness'. Subjective truth is what you as an individual accepts to be the truth to you only. Example of this type of truth is "religious truth". I am talking about objective truth. Objective means 'relating to an object: exterior to the mind: detached, impartial: that which is real or exists in nature in contrast with what is ideal or exists merely in the thought of the individual'.

The total numerical value of the root word 'NWB' is 50+6+2 a total of 58. The 58th attribute of God is El Mubdi'u meaning 'the beginner'. This is important because the oldest humans on this planet are us Nuwaubians also called Nubians and Moors. Our culture is the source of all other cultures on this planet. Nuwaubu was earth's first science and Nuwaubians it's first scientists. Nuwaubu is Right Knowledge, Right Wisdom, and Right Overstanding which leads to Sound Right Reasoning and Nuwaubians are the sons and daughter of Nuwaubu. WE ARE NOT A RELIGIOUS ORGANISATION!!!

According to the book "What is Nuwaupu" on page 9 "If one has to believe, it means he or she does not know. And if one does not know, that is ignorance. Hence, belief is ignorance and religious beliefs, without the facts is ignorance..... The most deceptive word in religion is the word "believe" or "belief", because a person can believe anything and this means that a person can believe and be one hundred percent wrong. Knowledge is knowing and knowledge is correct information. "To know" gives one confidence, but belief infers doubt. Knowledge can be checked out by one or more of three tests" which are Experience, Evidence and Reason.
