POV~~~
I awakened to find Dom looking softly at me. Dom smiled when he saw my eyes
flutter open. I smiled slightly and pulled his lips to mine in a soft kiss. I
had taken a nap when Dom, Mia, Jessie,
Part 2
~~~Letty's
POV~~~ We headed towards the alley where we usually
met up with Hector and Edwin. Dom was blasting his stereo as we drove and I
laughed when I saw the whole team lifting up their stereos to. I twisted the
knob that controlled the volume in my car and started
singing along to "In Da Club" by 50 cent. We reached the alley just
as the song ended and I saw Dom quickly turn the radio off. I left my keys in
the car and slid out of the car only to see Dom start flirting with a couple of
girls.
He always told me that he didn't mean anything by it but it would still piss me
off every time I saw him touching them and carrying meaningless conversations
with them. Dom looked at me and mouthed, "I'm sorry", but I just
waved a hand at him and went to talk to Mia who had also spied Dom's
flirtation. "I swear my brother can't keep his god damn dick in his pants"
Mia said glaring at him. I just rolled my eyes and looked at some of the cars
that had the tops open, eyeing the merchandise that the guys showed off to
attract some of the whores that walked by. Hector came by with a girl on each
arm and said "Hey chicas, que pasa." Mia sighed softly and said,
"Nothing, what's up with you?" "Nothing, but I'm gonna have to
bring my baby by some time soon because it hasn't been driving that good. Let's
see if Letty here can fix it up again." I smiled and said "No worries
bro." He smiled and said, "Yeah, I hope so" and left to talk
with Dom.
Dom looked over at me and smiled but I just scowled deeply at him and turned to
talk to Leon who had just pulled up next to us. Suddenly the load roar of a
powerful engine rang through the alleyway. A black Honda 2000 pulled up,
followed by 4 motorcycles or how Dom liked to call them, crotch rockets. A
black boot could be seen as Johnny Tran stepped out of the sleek black car.
Jessie's face went red and he slowly stepped behind
Part 3
~~~Letty's
POV~~~ By the time everyone had reached the street it
was blocked and everyone was raring to go. Dom's car stopped in front of me and
I bent down giving him a soft kiss. His hands pulled me closer deepening the
kiss and letting his tongue in my mouth. I pulled back and panted, "Good
luck." With a determined smile he drove towards the starting line with
Johnny on his tail. Johnny blew me a kiss and winked stopping next to Dom. I
heard
Johnny pressed his NOS at the same time Dom did and they passed the finish line
at the same time. I shook my head and walked slowly towards were Dom was
getting out of the car. I don't know why Dom tried; I mean Johnny had been
coming here for a while and neither one of them had ever won, always ties. Dom
and Johnny looked frustrated as they spilt the money in half. With a glare on
both parts they turned and walked away.
Dom went over to Mia who was with Brian by his car. I started to walk towards
them but Johnny quickly got in my way blocking me from Dom's point of view. I
glared at him and he just smiled wiping a stray piece of hair from my face. I
jerked my head away and his smile turned to a nasty smirk. "Letty, I don't
know why you stay with Toretto, I can offer you so
much more." "Yeah, what is that" I asked sarcastically, crossing
my arms over my chest. " For one I won't cheat on
you like Toretto has and will again. You remember what he did to you and with
my sister don't you?" Johnny said actually looking sympathetic. I looked
away quickly, hurtful memories flooding my mind. I looked back up at Johnny and
asked, " You only even look at me because you
want a reaction out of Dom and you want the only thing that you can take away
from him. Am I right?" Johnny smiled and walked around me but I quickly
turned before his hands could reach for my ass. I lifted my arm as if to punch
but Johnny was already down before I could touch him.
Dom's dark eyes were glazed over with what looked like madness as he flew on
top of Johnny. Punch after punch after punch came and went as Dom's anger flew
out through his fists. Suddenly,
I started the car and led the way back to the dark and unusually empty house.
When I returned Dom pulled me into his arms and held me tightly. I hugged him
back but pulled away when I felt a tear hit my shoulder. His face looked worn
and scared as another tear slipped past his cheek. I wiped them away with my
thumb and asked him softly "What's wrong baby?" He looked away and
said, "I'm sorry." I grabbed his face and brought it closer to mine
saying "You have nothing to be sorry about. You were protecting me even
though you know perfectly well I can take care of myself." He finally
cracked a small smile and said " It' s just that
I can't see straight when it comes to you. Every guy to me is a threat and then
I see Johnny and I think he can offer you so much more then I can. Why would
you wanna stay with me when you can have him?" After he said that I pulled
him in for a kiss. At first it was soft and sweet but then it became more
passionate when my mouth opened, inviting his hungry tongue in.
I pulled away placed my forehead against his and said "Because, I love
you." He smiled and pulled me in for another kiss. I laughed slightly
against his lips. He lifted me up his hands going to my ass to hold me up and
bring me up the stairs. He laid me down on the bed staring at me. I smiled
softly and pulled him on top of me. He kissed my ear and whispered "I love
you more then life."
Part 4
~~~Letty's
POV~~~ I woke up as soon as the annoying buzzing of the alarm clock turned off.
Mia had insisted we get an alarm clock since that seemed like the only thing
that could wake us. Dom groaned beside me and put the pillow on top of his
head. I smiled softly and threw the covers off of me. I stretched, flexing my
still sleeping muscles. I stood and I felt my back crack making me moan softly.
I grabbed one of Dom's shirts and headed down the stairs where I could already
smell Mia's delicious cooking. Vince was seated at small kitchen table eating
some pancakes. I smirked and ruffled his messy hair as I walked by.
He growled at me and went back to eating his pancakes. Mia came out of the
kitchen with a whole plate of eggs and another plate full of pancakes. She
smiled at me and set the plate down on the living room table. In about 5
minutes Leon, Jessie, and Brian had appeared at the table. All of us started to
talk about what would happen if Johnny did tell the cops that Dom had beat him
up. The police were still suspicious about us even though Brian had cleared our
names. They just needed one good reason to lock Dom up and they would.
I smiled when he walked into the kitchen in a white wife-beater and a pair of
grease covered khaki pants. He kissed me on the head as he walked by and grabbed
a plate of eggs, seating himself at the head of the table as usual. Mia coughed
slightly and said, "So, Dom how are your
hands?" Dom looked up and from his plate and said "They sting a
little bit but they good other wise." "Yeah I bit Johnny is stinging
a lot worse than that now"
After everyone finished eating I excused myself and went to go change into my
work clothes. I put on a pair of Dom's boxers and slipped on a pair of baggy
black pants and a red wife-beater, with my black combat boots. I walked down
the stairs and saw that everyone but Mia had already left. Mia asked if I could
drop her off at the store since her car was at the shop for an oil change. I
agreed since the shop was attached to the garage. Mia gave me some sandwiches
to take to the boys in case they were still hungry and a couple of beers.
I walked into the garage and found the guys already hard at work. Dom was
working on a red Honda, while the other guys were working on a blue Eclipse. I
walked over to the chart on the wall and found out that Hector, like he had
promised, was bringing his car by today. I smiled and helped Dom with the Honda
until Hector came in at 9:00 a.m. Dom chatted with Hector for a few minutes and
then went into the office to do some paperwork since Mia was busy at the store.
I immediately got to wok on the car and found out that Hector's car was just in
dire need of an oil change.
At about
He laughed softly but didn't size me again. Dom heard the commotion and came
out of the office his eyes turning furious as he saw who it was. "I
thought I made it perfectly clear I don't want you around here anymore,
Tran" Dom growled. His muscles flexed as he shivered with rage. Johnny
smiled obviously wasn't fazed by Dom's anger, even though he was living proof
that nobody messed with Dominique Toretto. I moved next to Dom and ran my hand
down his back trying to keep him from launching at Johnny again, even though I
would have loved to see Johnny get his ass whooped.
Dom turned his eyes away from Johnny and on to me which
mad him relax slightly. He turned back to Johnny and said "What do you
want Johnny?" Johnny laughed cruelly again and sneered "What I want
is standing right next to you, but I can wait till later for that." Now it
was time for Dom to hold me back as I tried to lunge at Johnny. "Feisty
isn't she, that works well in bed" Johnny smiled. I yelled making Dom jump
slightly since he didn't expect it "I WOULD NEVER EVER END UP IN YOUR BED
UNLIKE ALL THE OTHER GIRLS YOU SLEPT WITH." "Oh but you can sleep in
Toretto's bed knowing how many women he's brought up there while you were out
or maybe even just downstairs" With that said Johnny left knowing that the
damage had been done.
I looked down and pulled away from Dom's loving yet betraying arms. Mia had
come out of the shop with Brian who had gone on a break to see if Mia needed
any help. Mia heard the tires squeal and automatically knew what had happened.
I hated to admit it but Johnny had been right in saying what he said because it
was true. Dom had slept with a lot of women that I didn't even knew about but I
sill knew they had been there. I could smell their perfume in the bed every
once in awhile but I never mentioned it because I didn't want to fight about it
anymore. Maybe Johnny was right, maybe it was time to leave.
Part 5
~~~Letty's
POV~~~ The rest of the day was spent in complete
silence since no one had anything to say. Two hours after Johnny left I
couldn't take the silence any longer, I felt like it was suffocating me. I
rolled out from under the car I had just finished and grabbed my keys not
saying anything to anyone and left. I drove around
When I was little about 10 and Dom was 13, I already knew I loved him and it
scared me because being 10, I didn't think I was capable of love. Now my love
for him is the only thing that keeps me from leaving him. Dom is a part of me
and if I left him it would be like losing a part of myself.
He always says he loves me and I always think, "If he loves me why does he
hurt me so much." I won't leave though, I know I won't, I can't because my
life is with Dom and I have no where else. I slammed my hand down and turned on
the stereo my head buzzing from all the unwanted thoughts.
Suddenly the song from Leann Rimes came on "The Right Kind of Wrong"
and I listened, this song strangely going to my heart. ~I know all about, ~Yeah
about your reputation ~And now its bound to be a heartbreak situation ~But I
can't help it if I'm helpless ~Every time that I'm with you, ah ~You walk in
and my strength walks out the door ~Say my name and I can't fight it any more
~Oh I know, I should go ~ But I need your touch just to damn much
I frowned this song was describing me in ways I didn't know a song could. Dom
had a control over me that I couldn't break not even if I tried and it bothered
me. I always liked being in control but with Dom it was no win situation.

I smiled slightly, the song explained Dom in a good way, the right kind of
wrong. I'm a strong person especially when it comes to the people I love,
except for when it comes to Dom. Dom sees right through me when I'm sad or
scared and I try to put on a happy face. I have never cried in front of anybody
except for Dom when my mom died. He has seen me break down but nobody else has,
they always see the bitchy, tough girl that I am. ~It might be a mistake ~A
mistake I'm makin' ~But what your givin I am happy to be takin ~'Cause all that
will make me feel ~The way I feel when I'm in your arms
I remembered the first time Dom and I had made love. I was only 17 and Dom was
20 but I really didn't care because I wanted him so badly that our ages just
seemed like numbers. He cherished me then, but as we got older he started
cheating on me and I just ignored it like it wasn't there. ~They say your

The next verse of the song really hit home because it told me the real version
of why I wouldn't leave Dom. ~I should try to run but I just can't seem to

to me ~I don't care if I'm in to deep yeah
I turned off the song and started to drive towards a motel, I couldn't face Dom
right now so I decided I would drive to the house tomorrow. I didn't want to worry
Mia so I took out my cell phone and called her. After three rings I heard a
soft "Hell0." "Hey Mi, what's up" I said cheerily. She
gasped "Letty! Dom has been pitching a fit cause he doesn't know where you
are." I smiled (at least he cares) and said, " Well
tell him that I'm fine and that I'll be home tomorrow." "Need a break
huh?" Mia asked, I heard the smile in her voice.
"Yep, and I'll be home tomorrow so tell everyone that I love them and that
I'll see them later" I said but suddenly I heard the booming of Dom as he
came into the store.
Mia quickly covered knowing that I probably didn't want to talk to Dom at the
moment. "Is that Letty, Mia" Dom asked, worry etched in his voice.
Mia slapped Dom's hand away as he tried to get the phone "Relax Dom, yeah
it's Letty and she says she'll be coming home tomorrow, she wants to be by
herself for awhile." With that Mia said "Bye Let,
see ya tomorrow." I said the same and got out of my parked car and went
inside. The desk lady smiled and said "Just one miss?" "Yeah and
just one night too" I said watching the lady type on her computer. She
handed me the key to the room and told me the check out time was at

~~~Letty's
POV~~~ I woke up around
After eating and paying my bill I jumped back in my car to drive around and see
if I could find something to do since I wasn't tired. There was probably a
party going on at Hector's house but I was worried Dom would be there and he
would start a fight with me. Still wanting to make sure that he wasn't there I
made my way towards Hector's house and checked in the row of cars to see if any
of the teams was there. Surprisingly I only found Mia's car in the line so I
parked and made my way inside.
The hoes automatically jumped away from the guys they were with after seeing me
looking to see if Dom was with me. I glared at the them
and said "Sorry girls I didn't bring your chew toy tonight but I'm sure
you bitches can find another toy to play with for now." The girls huffed
and the ones that had been with guys went back to them and the ones that hadn't
went to go find one. I saw Mia talking with Hector and a couple of girls and I
made my way over to her. Mia looked surprised to see me and turned to Hector
asking if he would excuse her for a sec. She brought me into Hector's backyard
and asked "What are ya doin here Let?" "I wasn't tired so I
decided to come see if Dom wasn't here so I could party for a while" I
said looking around making sure nobody could here us. Mia smiled and said
"Okay!! Well I don't see ya partying." I smiled and went to go dance
when I felt Mia grab my hand. I turned and asked, "What's wrong Mi?"
"You might wanna change those clothes first," Mia giggled. I looked
down and remembered that I was still wearing my work clothes. I smiled but said
"I ain't got nothn' to change into though Mi." "Not a
problem" Mia grabbed my hand and dragged me back inside.
Mia walked up to a hoe that was wearing a top that barely covered her tits and
some tight ass leather pants. I was praying that Mia wasn't going to ask this
girl for clothes. But of course Mia said, "Hey Jasmine you got some extra
clothes my friend here needs some." Jasmine's light blue eyes landed on me
and she said "Yeah, sure, your Letty right?" "Yeah" I said
brushing a piece of hair from my face. I knew I was talk among the hoes of the
races because I was Dom' s girl and they usually
didn't like me too much. Jasmine turned away from the guy she had been talking
to, grabbed some clothes from a bag she had with her and handed them to Mia.
"Thanks Jasmine" Mia said and I quickly said the same. The girl
smiled and said "Your welcome and don't worry about returning them you can
keep em'." As we walked up the stairs I thought, "Maybe all the hoes
weren't so bad after all."
Mia walked into the only room that wasn't occupied and handed me the clothes.
Thankfully, the room that they had walked into seemed to belong to a girl, so
she had make up and brushes. I so didn't like the clothes that the girl had
given me but it was the only thing I had so I dealt with it. When I finished
putting on the clothes I thought I looked like a complete slut but Mia said I
looked good. The girl had given me a black leather skirt so short that it
barely covered my ass and the thing that made that worse was that I had a thong
on. The top was short and a back corset top. Mia took my hair out of the messy
ponytail I had it in and ran a comb threw it straightening it. She applied some
light makeover and gave me the once over then said I was ready. We went
downstairs and I was not appreciating the stares I was receiving from most of
the guys. Mia led me onto the dance floor knowing that I loved to dance, and I
started moving with the rhythm of Sean Paul's Gimme the Light. As we were
dancing I asked "Mia where is Dom anyway?" Mia suddenly looked
towards the door and stopped dancing "Dom's here!!!!!"
Part 7
~~~Letty's
POV~~~ I turned in the direction of the door and there stood a very pissed off
Dom. Leon, Vince, and Jessie stood behind him their eyes not meeting mine. I
turned to Mia and she just looked at me worriedly. I moved away from Mia and
towards Dom. He didn't look happy to see me but I didn't care, I was never scared
off him before. He had three girls hanging off of him and they sneered as I
moved closer to him and them. Dom shoved the girls away and moved towards me,
his angry eyes never leaving mine. "I think we need to talk" Dom
growled grabbing me by the arm and dragging me outside.
I yanked my arm from his strong grip and glared at him as he turned to look at
me. "What are you doing here? I thought I wasn't going to see you until
tomorrow, Letty" he said his angry eyes blazing. "I wanted to party
so I came here. What do you care anyway?" I asked looking him straight in
the eye. "You left the garage today without saying anything to anyone and
then suddenly you show up here like nothings wrong. Tell me what's
wrong Letty, please" Dom said softly, placing his hand on my cheek.
I moved away from him and said "How many Dom?" "What?" Dom
asked confusion etched on his serious features.
"How many times have you cheated on me," I asked tears threatening to
spill but I held them back. Dom looked away guiltily but then looked back and
said "Letty, I've told you that I'm sorry!" I laughed with no humor
in it and said, "Yeah, sorry, you always say sorry but it doesn't matter cause you always do it again. Why do you it Dom? Am I not
good enough for you?" Dom moved forward grabbing me by my shoulders and
pulling me into a hug "Never say that again Letty, you are to good for me, and I am an asshole for doing this to
you." That's when I knew I had to do it. "Dom I think we need to take
a break until both of us get our heads straight"
I whispered pulling away from his arms. "No, Letty we can make this work.
I promise I won't cheat anymore" Dom said desperately trying to make me
change my mind. I smiled softly and moved forward kissing him softly on the
cheek before walking away.
I hopped in my car and drove away not looking back. I had done what I had
feared I could never do and I did it without crying. I drove to the house that
I lived most of my life in and packed my stuff. I sat down on the sofa and
wrote a note to everyone.
Hey guys, I have gone to live with my cousin for a little while; I just need
some space. I'll be back don't worry just give me a
couple of weeks to think things through. Have someone take over my cars at the
garage I won't be working for a little while either. Mia, keep the guys in
check for me or at least until I get back. If you guys need to reach me I'll be
at 569-9458.

I looked back at the house and said "See ya soon!"
Part 8
~~~Letty's
POV~~~ Two hours after I had left the house I was sitting on the coach of my
best friend and cousin's apartment. Jessica Rodriguez was my cousin on my dad's
side as well as her dads. Both of us had lost both of our parents too drugs and
alcohol. JJ came in holding a cup of tea and handed it to me smiling. I took it
and gave a short laugh making JJ look at weirdly "What?" "I
haven't had tea since I was like 5" I laughed taking a sip of the hot
liquid. "Well I ran out of beer when I had that party last night"
Jessica said laughing "So you gonna tell me why you're here?"
After I told her the story, to my surprise she started laughing, "I swear
your life is like a fucking soup opera Let." I
slapped her in the arm and smiled slightly as she said, "Well with how
fine Dom is you can't expect for him not to turn some girls
heads." "God you know what you remind me of Leon, JJ" I said
thinking of how
Jessica began telling me about what had been happening with her and about the
huge party she was having tonight. I laughed and thought "Even in bad
situations JJ is always ready to party." We got out of the house and went
shopping for the supplies we would need for the party. When we got back to the
house the phone was ringing so I ran to get it "Hello, Letty
speaking." "LETTY!" Mia screamed her
loudness making me move the phone away from ear. "Hey Mi, is everyone
okay" I said worriedly. "Everyone is fine but you've only been gone
three hours and Dom's pitching a fit" Mia said and I could just picture
her rolling her eyes. "Why I mean, I left a note saying where I was and
where you guys could reach me" I said confused. "Well. I kinda didn't
show him the note. because if I did Dom would have
been calling you 24-7 asking you to come back. So I kept it and nobody else
knows about it," Mia laughed on the other line. Suddenly I heard banging
on the other line and Mia quickly said "I gotta go bye."
After I hung up I smiled thanking Mia in my head for thinking the way she did.
Jessica came in the kitchen and said "Are you just gonna stand their or
help me with the stuff we just bought." After we set everything up JJ insisted
I get my hair done. Even though JJ was just as much of a tomboy as I was she
still cared about her hair. She dragged me to a hair
and nail salon insisting I put on acrylics as well, since my nails were chipped
and on taken care of.
I had to admit my hair looked nice when I finished and so did my usually bitten
and chewed nails. My hair, which was usually in a messy
ponytail had been straightened, and layered. JJ had also straightened
her frizzy hair and done her nails all free of charge since the manager liked
her. When we finally got back to the house people were already there. Since
parties happened almost every day at back home I was used to it. This time
though I managed to drink more then I should have and got a little over excited
as well as horny.
When I would got like this back home I usually had
someone to take all of my hormonal angst on and it was always Dom. Jessica was
just as drunk as I was and dancing, pretty nastily, with this guy that she
probably didn't even know. Paying attention to somebody else I didn't notice a
man slip something into my drink. I took a swallow from my drink and my body
became very numb as I sat my self on the coach. A man that I couldn't see very
well picked me up and started going up the stairs with me. When he put me on
the bed I looked up and recognized him immediately. But before I could scream I
passed out.
Part 9
~~~Letty's
POV~~~
The first thing I felt when I woke up was a numbing
pain in my head. I moaned and tried to sit up but the annoying pain was killing
me, so I had to lie back down. I heard the door open and I breathed a sigh of
relief when I saw it was Jessica. She came to the side of my bed and smirked
even though I knew she was having just as much of a hangover as I was
"What happened in here last night Let?" I looked around and I saw
that the bed was rumpled and my clothes lay forgotten on the floor.
I suddenly sat up bringing excruciating pain to my head but at the moment I
didn't care. Jessica stared at me and said, "What's your deal?" I ran
a hand through me messed up hair as I said "I need to take me back home
now!" Jessica suddenly caught on to what was happening and when she went
to touch me I jerked away. I knew I had hurt her but all I could think of was
what had happened last night. Jessica nodded and left the room going to pack. I
slowly tried getting off the bed and I slowly stood. I grabbed my clothes off
the floor and shoved them in the bag of clothes I had brought.
I put on a pair of hip hugger jeans and one of Dom's big t-shirts. I smelled
the material and I could feel the tears start to come to my eyes. I needed Dom
at that moment like I never thought I could. Jessica came in the room dressed
and I grabbed my bag walking slowly down the steps since my head was still
pounding. Jessica went into the kitchen and came out with a glass of water and
two Aspirins. I took them and we made our way to the car. I sat down in the
passenger side and Jessica started my car saying "You'll have to drive me
back home when we get through with this." I nodded and leaned down staring
out the window as a bunch of trees flew by.
We drove in silence for about an hour until Jessica asked, "Are you going
to tell me what happened Letty?" I ignored the
question and stayed quiet still looking out the window. "Letty, please
just talk to me" Jessica pleaded taking her eyes off the road to glance at
me. "You'll know everything once we get to the house" I muttered
looking at her out of the corner of my eye. She nodded solemnly and didn't try
to talk to me again.
After two hours we stopped in front of the house. Everyone was home since
everyone's car was in the driveway so that meant I had to share the nightmare
with the whole entire family. Jessica got out of the car, as did I, she made her way to the door as I trudged along behind
her. When she was about to knock I stopped her and said, "The door is
never locked." She smiled and I opened the door stepping into the bright
house. Jessica closed the door behind her and I heard Mia from the kitchen
"I'll see who it is." With that said I heard the shuffle of feat and
Mia came into view. She stopped in her tracks and screamed "Letty!"
She grabbed me and pulled me into a fierce hug as I tried to move away. When
Mia pulled back and saw the scared look in my eyes she asked softly
"What's wrong?" I heard plates crash as the guys jumped from the
table to come see if it was me. Leon, Jessie, Brian, Vince, and Dom came
running into the room but stopped when they saw how terrible I looked. Jessica
came forward and put her arm around me as I tried to turn away from the
questioning stares. Dom pushed through the guys and I looked away as he tried
to look me in the eye. I felt like I had betrayed him in some way, I felt dirty
and I didn't want Dom to see me that way. The group turned to look at Jessica
knowing she knew what was wrong. "What happened to her JJ" Mia asked
looking from my cousin to me. "She was." I looked at Dom as Jessica
said the last word "raped." Dom's eyes flashed to mine and then they
turned icy cold with one word written on them "VENGANCE." If looks
could kill Jessica would have been dead by now "Who did it?" "I
don't know she won't tell me," JJ said looking at me. Dom moved forward
grabbing me and pulling me towards him as I turned my head so I didn't have to
look at him. I pulled away from his tight grip and said "Johnny it was
Johnny." That's all Dom needed to hear before he was out the door.
Part 10
*Letty's POV*
"Dom" I yelled as he disappeared out the door followed by the rest of
the guys. Dom didn't stop or turn around at my scream but he did tell Mia to
hold me back. She did as she was told and Jessica help
her as I tried to stop Dom from committing a crime that could end up with life
in prison. Dom looked at me as I fought with the girl's grips. I yelled again
and he just got into his car and shot down the road. Finally I stopped
struggling and the girls let me go, making me fall to
the floor. Mia was crying as her arms wrapped around me and I finally let the
tears flow on Mia's shoulder. Jessica stood at the door looking down the road
where all the cars had disappeared.
*Dom's POV*
I didn't have any rational thoughts as I drove down the road with the guys
following me. All I could think about was that Johnny had touched my woman and
that was enough for me to want to beat the shit out of him. I stopped in front
of the place where Johnny hung out my mind concentrated on one the thing
beating the shit out of him and killing him. Brain was at my side and he looked
at me knowing that I couldn't be stopped. Vince, Jessie, and Leon knew what
they had to do and they were ready to do it. I knocked on the door that
belonged to Johnny's father but it now belonged to Johnny since his father
moved away.
A servant answered the door and I pushed her out of the way making my way to
the dinning room. Johnny was seated watching TV. with
a couple of his friends.
Suddenly I felt a small yet firm hand on my back and I turned to strike but
stopped when I saw who it was. Letty pulled me off of Johnny and
We reached the house and everyone was silent and Letty took me upstairs. I sat
down on the bed and didn't meet her eyes as she looked at me. She sat down next
to me and I flinched slightly when she grabbed my hand, which again was badly
bruised, and the skin was torn from where it had touched bone. Given the
situation I thought she was going to be angry but instead she laughed and said,
"How many times am I going to have to do this"? I looked at her and
tore away my and making it sting slightly. Letty looked hurt but she stayed
quiet and she sighed when I asked, "What happened?" With a glance at
me she stood up and started pacing the room " Jessica
had a party and I had a little bit to much to drink and you know how I get when
I drink to much. I was dancing and not paying attention to anything, I had set
my drink down and when I came back I drank some and instantly my body became
numb. I sat down on the sofa and I vividly remember Johnny picking me up and
taking me upstairs I passed out before I could do anything about it." She
looked at me and I knew she was sorry even though it wasn't her fault.
I jumped up from the bed and pinned her against the wall pressing myself
against her. She looked at me her eyes becoming glazed over with passion as I
moved my face closer to hers and I said, "It's not your fault." I
kissed her then long and hard but before I could do anything else she pulled
away and she said "Dom, I still need the break and even though I'm not
leaving again I need you to just not do that anymore cause if you do I might
not be able to pull away." I nodded and she left the room before I could
say anything else.
*9 Months later*
*Letty's Pov*
My car moved swiftly through the traffic and I smiled
as Jessica sang along to the Jump Off from Lil' Kim. She smiled back at me and
I turned back to the road. After that night when I told Dom I still wanted my
break he respected my wishes and said nothing when I moved into the room next
to Dom. Jessica sold her apartment thinking that it would be better if she
stayed with me. Her and Leon hooked up about three months later and have been
together ever since. Dom and I are also back together after he promised that he
would never cheat on me again and by the looks of it he's kept his promise.
None of the people that knew how Johnny died said anything to the police since
they knew that they would get in trouble for knowing that he was going to rape
me. Jessica was still singing when out of the corner of my eye I saw a car
going straight for us and since I was in traffic I couldn't move. I beeped and
tried to move but I couldn't do anything and the car crashed into us knocking
me unconscious.
*Dom's Pov*
My cell phone started ringing and I took it out
putting it to my ear. "Hello" I said expecting it to be Letty. A
woman spoke solemnly into the phone saying "Hello Mr. Toretto this is Gina
from L.A hospital and I have some news that might be hard for you to understand
but you have to. I have two women here and one is awake and okay except for
some broken bones but the other is in a coma. Your girlfriend I believe she is, is in a coma and we aren't sure if she's going to wake
up."
Part 11
*Mia's POV*
"
*15 Minutes Later*
Mia's POV
I had explained to Leon what had happened and I knew he was relived that
Jessica was okay but I knew his hurt for what was happening to Letty outweighed
his happiness. Dom stayed quiet the whole way to the hospital, not a single
sound escaping his parched lips. By the time we reached the hospital
I heard the door open and I turned around to see Brian run into the room his
eyes full of sadness. I started sobbing then as he pulled me into his arms.
Jessica had let go of Dom, who had retreated to a chair in the corner, and
Jessica was now holding onto
A nurse walked in her curly hair bouncing as she took the covers off Jessica.
Both Jessica's legs were in casts and so was her hip. Jessica looked at her
wounds and said "I should be the one in intensive care not her." Dom
looked more withdrawn then before as he played in his mind the last moments
Letty might have experienced before she was put into a coma. Vince and Jessie
were just as withdrawn as Dom. I looked at Brian who looked sadly on as the
nurse did some small tests on Jessica. Suddenly a doctor walked in saying,
"Who is Ms. Rodriguez's boyfriend." Dom shot out of his seat and
said, "I am."
*Dom's Pov*
The doctor looked solemnly at me and said, "Very
well, follow me." I looked at Mia and she shoed
me away with a teary smile. I followed the doctor and he asked me softly
"Ms. Rodriguez, is in intensive care sir, in a coma because she severely
damaged her brain and her legs are both broken and both of her arms as well.
The funny thing about all this is that in a car accident like this the damage
goes to the stomach, but your girlfriends stomach is
fine and so is the baby!"
Part 12
*Dom's POV*
My world stopped as the word baby left the doctor's
mouth. "Baby?" I asked stopping in my
tracks. The doctor turned around and smiled "Yes sir, Leticia is about 2
months along. I guessing she was on her way to tell you when she got in that
car accident." I thought back and remembered that Letty had told me that
she had something to tell the team and me when she got home. For the first time
since I had heard that Letty was in a coma I smiled. The doctor started walking
again and went into the intensive care unit. I followed the doctor to a room
but when I saw what was in the room I stopped again.
Letty was on the bed hooked up to an IV and she had an oxygen mask on. Her face
was covered in bruises and dry blood. Her arms were both in casts and placed on
her stomach. I couldn't see below that because she was covered in blankets. The
doctor opened the door to the room and went in, holding it open so I could walk
in as well. Letty's breaths were coming slowly, making it the only way you
could tell she was alive. I bent down placing a soft kiss on Letty's forehead.
The doctor was reading the chart that had been on the bin outside the room. His
eyes searched the paper and then he looked up "Well from the looks of it
the baby is very healthy even though Leticia is in such bad condition. They've
run some tests and you'll be able to know if it's a boy or a girl in another
month or so. The doctor that did Leticia's surgery also says that he has high
hopes that she will wake up." I breathed a sigh of relief, gently grabbing
Letty's arm and kissing her fingertips. "Well I'll go get everyone else.
I'm sure they'll want to hear the news" the doctor said smiling as he left
the room. I smiled back and pulled up the chair that was against the wall
closer to Letty's bed.
In about 5 minutes the whole team was inside the room, including Jessica who
was sitting in a wheel chair. Mia walked out of Brain's arms and made her way
over to the bedside, tears falling down her already moist cheeks. She pulled
Letty's dark hair away from her face softly and then she placed a soft kiss on
Letty's bruised cheek. Vince looked at me tears in his hard eyes at the sight
of seeing Letty so battered. Jessica looked at me and said, "The doctor
said you had news. What is it?" I stood up and looked at Mia "Your
gonna be a Aunt, Mia." Mia nearly jumped out of
her shoes "What?" "Letty's pregnant" I stated laughing when
Mia came over to me nearly squeezing the air out of me. Jessica finally smiled
and said, "So that's what she wouldn't tell me!" The guys were nearly
bouncing off the floor as the news brought up there low sprits. "And also
the doctor says that he has high hopes that she is going to wake up soon"
that made Mia jump into Brian's arms screaming with joy. Mia was so loud that a
nurse walked by and pointedly shushed her. Mia paid no attention and continued
laughing and screaming.
I stayed at Letty's bedside for 3 weeks and I would have stayed longer if Mia
hadn't told me to go home and get some rest that she would watch over Letty
while I was gone. I jumped into my Mazda and drove to the house. The team was
there, everyone asleep next to the phone just incase anybody called with news
of Letty's awakening. I carefully made my way around the sleeping figures on
the floor and made my way up the stairs to take a shower. I turned on the water
very hot, letting the steam flow over me. I stripped myself of the clothes and
stepped into the shower, the hot water soothing my sour and aching muscles.
Sitting in the hard chair in the hospital room did not do wonders for my back.
After my shower I put on some baggy jeans and a white wife beater just in case
if Mia called I wouldn't have to change before making my way to the hospital. I
went back downstairs and opened the freezer and took out a Lean Cuisine meal. I
placed it in the microwave and heated it sitting down at the kitchen table. I
heard shuffling in the living room and laughed when
I drove faster than I have ever drove in my life. I
was at the hospital in two minutes and I flew into the intensive care and there
sat Letty trying to eat the food placed in front of her. Mia was sitting at her
side tears in her eyes. When I walked in I ran to Letty and hugged her as hard as
I could without hurting her. When I pulled back she looked confused and said,
"Who are you?"
Part 13
*Mia's POV*
Dom looked at me confused, as did Letty who had no idea who the strange man
that had hugged her was. "Mia what's going on" Dom asked baking away
from the bed. "She has amnesia Dom she doesn't remember anybody and she
wont for a while," I explained as Letty looked at Dom. "So who is
this" Letty asked looking at Dom. "This Letty, is your boyfriend,
Dominique Toretto" I said watching as Dom ran his large hand over his
head, a nervous habit. Letty blinked and said, "Hey, at least I know I
have good taste." I smiled, as did Dom who looked at the door when it
burst open. Leon, Vince, Jessie, and Brian came crawling in panting. "Damn
Dom you're pretty spry"
The door opened again and Jessica wheeled herself into the room.
*Letty's POV*
I watched Dom closely my eyes unconsciously roaming down the hardened muscle
that was his chest. "Well at least I know my hormones were not kept in
check," I thought, mentally shaking my head. Mia was leaning back into the
blue-eyed guys arms. Frustration was the one word that
seemed to mind more than any other word. I hated not being able to remember
these people, the people that were supposed to be my family. Not even being
able to remember your boyfriend is something that I hope I will get over soon.
Mia realized that I only knew who certain people in the room were so she said
"Letty this is Brian my husband, that's Vince he is like a brother to you
just like Leon and Jessie, and you already know Dom and Jessica." Suddenly
the door was opened and a woman with curly blond hair walked in. I looked at
Mia as if expecting it to be another person I didn't recognize. "No that's
a nurse" Mia stated her white teeth showing as she smiled softly.
"Yes I am Leticia and I'm here to see how you are doing" the blond
woman said coming to check on the IV bag at my right. "I don't remember
shit and everything hurts, how would you feel," I
said looking at the nurse out of the corner of my eye. She chuckled "I see
the mood swings are coming on. That happens when you are almost 4 months
pregnant." That was when I froze and stuttered "Pregnant?"
"Yep and you are set for the sonogram tomorrow" the nurse said not
realizing that I had no idea that I was pregnant. "Well I'll be seeing you
tomorrow mommy" the nurse said patting my head as she left.
"Okay somebody in this room might want to explain right now, why I was
never told that I was pregnant" I said my eyes moving to my stomach. I
started to take off the sheets that had been placed on top of me and when I
reached my stomach I found a large lump on my abdomen. When I looked up Dom was
at my side and his hand was reaching to touch my stomach and to everyone's
surprise I let him. I shivered at his touch and I looked up into his almost
black eyes. Mia cleared her throat making me turn to look at her "We
didn't tell you because we were worried that you wouldn't take it well. That's
why I had the nurse put so many blankets so that you wouldn't notice your
belly." I nodded and turned to Dom "It's yours right?"
Dom nodded as the words left my dry cracked lips. I smiled and leaned back on
the bed my hands still on my stomach. Dom brought a chair over and sat down
next to me placing his hand softly on top of mine.
The next day I was taken into a room and they did something they call the
sonogram. The doctor laid me on another bed with the help of some other doctors
and then they lifted my gown so that my stomach was open to everyone's view. I
had asked Mia to come with me and she had complied since Dom was at home
getting much needed rest. They took out the machine and put this cold liquid
all over my stomach. I closed my eyes for a minute but opened them when I heard
Mia gasp. In the small T.V. you could see two pairs of arms and legs. The
doctor smiled down at me and said "Leticia I believe your going to have
twins."
Part 14
*Dom's Pov*
I rushed into my car after a
hurried call from Mia saying to come to the hospital that there was some news on
the baby. The guys had been in the garage trying to catch up on things that had
been left since Letty had been in the hospital. Jessica was getting better and
was already out of the hospital but was still in bed full time, she hated it
but had to deal. I parked as close as I could to the hospital entrance and ran
up the steps, some nurses waving as they knew me already since I stayed here
most of the time with Letty. I walked into the room where Letty sat smiling
happily and eating some of the mush that was supposed to pass as oatmeal.
I looked at Mia who also seemed
to be happier then I had seen her in weeks. I breathed a sigh of relief as I
realized the news was good by the looks on the two women's faces. Mia got up
and pulled me into a hug, tears of joy spilling from her light chocolate brown
eyes and onto my shirt. I hugged her back uncertainly and when she pulled back
she said "Letty's having twins!" A smile of pure joy crossed across
my face and I looked at Letty and she smiled back but then her face clouded
with disappointment. I walked over and sat down on the chair my face marked
with concern. "I want to remember Dom, but I just cant and it's making me
feel helpless and week" Letty said her still bandaged hands coming to her
face to rub her forehead in frustration. " I know your frustrated but you
just got to try and remember little things like what your favorite foods are or
something" I said, not used to comforting Letty when she was always the
one comforting me.
"Do you know me well
enough to help me" Letty asked hope expressed in her dark eyes.
"Sometimes I think I know you better then I know myself" I chuckled
leaning back and asking "What do you want to know?" "About my
past" Letty asked leaning back as though she knew the story was long.
"Well, you moved down the street from me when you were seven and I was
nine. You and Mia became instant best friends and Vince and I just saw you as,
well, a pest" I chuckled and my heart fluttered when Letty's eyes twinkled
as a small laugh erupted from her dry throat. Mia came forward and sat at the
edge of the bed wanting to hear the story of her past. "
You were always into cars and you wanted to help in the garage that me
and my dad, Devon Toretto, had. Vince and I always said no because you were a
girl and you couldn't help. But one day my dad told me to let you try so we
asked you to fix this oil leak on a car and you at only eight years old put on
some coveralls that were way to big for you and slid
under the car, fixing the leak faster then I ever could. All of us kind of
became a team but I more or less saw you as a sister than anything else. One
day when you were 9 and I was 11 you came to our house with tears all over your
face to tell us that you had found your parents dead. When the ambulance came
they said that they had overdosed on cocaine. You were devastated but continued
on putting on a strong face and not shedding a single tear. "
"We tried to talk to you
but you would just shrug us of and say that nothing was wrong. One day Mia
finally got to you and you broke down crying for the first time since I had
known you. Well after that you moved into my house and we became even closer as
a family. We met Leon and Jessie and they joined the family the only difference
being that they lived in there own house. One day when I was about 16 and you
were 14 my dad went to a stock car race bringing all of us along. We were so
excited and we sat in the front row waiting for the race to start. At the final
turn a guy named Kenny Linder clipped his bumper and put him into the wall at
120" I stopped the memory of my dead father too much for me to bear. Mia's
eyes were glassy with tears but I looked away when I felt a small hand in my
large one urging me on. Letty also looked saddened even though she didn't
remember the man that had been just as much of a father to her as he was to me.
I nodded and cleared my throat
"I lost it and threw my self forward trying to get to the car that was
already in flames. You and Mia grabbed me and held me and we all cried along
with the guys who were watching the car burn. We had a really nice funeral and
we buried him right next to our mom, Isabella. One day about a year after dad
died I went to the store down the street and saw Linder being some parts. I had
a wrench and I hit him and I didn't mean to keep hitting but by the time I was
done I couldn't lift my arm. I was put in Lompoc Prison for two years" I
stopped my voice cracking at the memory of the place where I had wasted to
years of my life.
*Mia's Pov*
At the sound of my brother's
voice cracking I continued " Since me and you were still underage we were
sent to a foster home until we both turned 18 and then we were sent back to the
house. Dom came back a couple of months after and the whole team got back
together. Suddenly Dom here started crushing on you, which scared him and just
made me laugh. You were to blind because you liked him that you couldn't see
the amazingly obvious signals he was throwing your way. Me
and everyone else besides you two decided we needed to do something so we had a
party but it didn't go as we planned. Dom had sex with Tran's sister and you
were hurt so you wouldn't talk to Dom. Dom got sick of trying to talk to you so
he started ignoring you to. Dom had no idea that you liked him so he thought
you were mad at him for no good reason. Finally one day Leon and me locked you to in a room and in about 5 seconds we heard
everything we needed to here. You guys have been together ever since." I
was stopped when the nurse walked in and said "I think she needs some rest
you guys so if you could just leave for the night. We'll take good care of her
I promise." I nodded and grabbed Dom's hand leading him out of the room.
Letty's Pov
The
nurse smiled at me and said, "So do you have names for the babies
yet." I smiled and said "Yes, Isabella and

~A couple of months later~
*Letty's Pov*
I leaned back stretching my
legs. The casts had finally been removed and I smiled as I looked at my arms
which only had some scars left. If I had my memory I would already be out of
the hospital but I didn't so I had to wait. The nurse walked in handing me a
towel and saying that I could take a shower. I grinned at her so happy that I
could walk again. I made my way to the bathroom and slipped the hospital gown
over my head. I couldn't look at my feet since my rounded stomach blocked them
from my view. I felt my stomach and smiled as I felt a small kick against the
palm of my hand. I stepped into the shower letting the water run over my skin.
Suddenly I moved back a memory hitting me hard. Actually it wasn't a memory
more a flash.
A hand
running through my hair and down my body. It didn't show me who it was
but I still knew that was the day I became pregnant. I leaned against the wall
of the shower rubbing my hand over my forehead. I had a headache so I finished
my shower quickly and dried my hair with the small portable hair dryer that was
under the sink. I walked out of the bathroom, right when the nurse came in with
my dinner. I asked if I could take some pills for the migraine that was now
forming. The nurse went and brought the doctor who said that I could take some
pills to the pain. I thanked him and began to eat some of the food that was on
my tray. It was spaghetti with meat sauce so I ate it happily since it was the only
thing I liked from the hospital menu.
After I ate I sat down on the
bed and turned on the T.V. After a while the door opened and Dom walked in. I
smiled as he kissed me softly on the forehead. He sat down in the chair next to
me and watched the Wheel of Fortune with me. I looked at him and said, "I
don't think you came here to watch Wheel of Fortune with me so what's up?"
I turned the T.V. off and faced him. "Just wanted to see how you were
doing I guess. I had a bad feeling" Dom said running a large hand over his
baldhead. "I'm fine just got a migraine, probably from that weird flashy
thingy I had in the bathroom," I said looking into Dom's beautiful ebony
eyes. "Flash" he asked looking at me weirdly. I blushed looking away
"Um. it was kinda weird because I just kinda felt
and saw somebody putting their hand through my hair and touching me." Dom
smiled at my embarrassment but his smile turned into fits of laughter. I glared
at him and said, "What's so funny?" "I don't think I've seen you
blush in a long time," Dom said finally ceasing his laughter.
He stayed with me for a while
but left when he got a call on his cell from Mia. He almost kissed me on the
lips as though it was an instinct but he turned, realizing what he was about to
do, and kissed me on the cheek. His lips were so soft and I almost wanted him
to have kissed me on the lips. I turned on my side trying to get some rest when
the door opened again and I turned back to see a short Asian man that I didn't
recognize. "Well the president of the
"I was hoping Dom hadn't
gotten here before I had" Lance said shaking his head sadly. "What do
you mean" I asked confusion covering me. "Everything Dom Toretto has
told you is a lie. You were not his girlfriend you were my cousin's
girlfriend" Lance said angrily standing up. "What do you mean
were?" I asked not knowing if I should believe him or not. "Dom
killed him to get him out of the way, so he could get to you. Dom even hit you
with a car hoping you would
lose your memory so that he could say you were his" Lance growled.
"Why should I believe anything you say? I asked glaring at him.
"Because of this" he said taking something out of his jacket pocket
and handing it to me. It was a picture of me and another man looking happy.
I gasped touching the picture
softly with my fingertips. "They killed him," I asked softly
believing what Lance said. Dom had never showed me a picture of me with them
why should I believe him. "Yep" Lance said sitting back down on the
bed. I grabbed the picture and angrily threw it at the wall watching the glass
shatter. I glared at the wall and muttered "If Dom can get away with
taking away some that I loved that means I can get away with taking somebody
away that he loves."
Part 16
In The End
*Mia's Pov*
I brought my finger to my lips
and tasted the sauce I had just finished cooking. "Ummm, delicious" I
thought out loud, sucking my finger until the last drop of the sweet sauce was
gone. "Oh, I want some if it's that good" Brian smirked walking into
the kitchen. I smiled and placed my finger in the bowl of sauce and brought it
up to Brian's lips. He smiled and sucked at it greedily. When I pulled my
finger out I asked, "What do you think?" He cocked his head, like he
was deep in thought. "Well?" I asked impatiently tapping my foot.
"I've had better," he said playfully. I slapped him on the arm and
said stubbornly "Well you won't get any then." I turned my back to
him and dropped the sauce on top of the steaming pasta. After a few minutes I
felt arms wrap around my waist and I continued mixing the pasta as though he
wasn't there.
I smiled triumphantly when he turned me around so that my face was inches from
his "I knew you couldn't resist my food." Brian smiled and kissed me.
I smiled softly against his lips but pulled away to look at the door when I
heard a groan. I frowned when I saw
Dom looked at me still confused "Well what?" "Aren't you going
to offer to get the meatballs?" I asked knowing that I was bugging him.
Dom looked at me like I had grown a second head. "It's about time you did
something other than moping," I said poking him in the chest with my index
finger. "Well if your going to have that attitude then no" Dom said
looking down at me. I made my eyes real big and stuck out my bottom lip
"Please big brother will you go and get me the meatballs." Dom smiled
kissing me on the top of the head and walking towards the door. When he was
about to leave I shouted, "All of you go!!!"
I walked up to him and got in his face "Since I made it one. Now you
better go if you know what's good for you."
I placed the pasta in the
microwave so that I could heat it up whenever the guys got back, which I was
sure was going to be awhile. I went up the stairs and into Dom's room to be visited
by a catastrophic sight. Clothes everywhere both of Dom and Letty!! "Damn
you guys would it hurt you to put your clothes in a drawer" I said aloud
picking up one of Dom's boxers and throwing it in a drawer. After about 15
minutes of picking up clothes the room actually looked decent. I walked into
Brian's and my room ready to take a warm bath. After a while of the jets
massaging my tense muscles I got out, combing my wet hair.
I put on a tank top and some
shorts on when I heard the door slam down stairs. I knew it wasn't the guys,
when I didn't hear any yelling. I jogged down the stairs rapidly. " Oh shit Letty! Are you ok?" I shouted half way
down the stairs. " No, I'm not ok." She
reached into her jacket pocket, and started rummaging for something. " What's wrong? Who kidnapped you? Did they hurt
you?" I blurted out I think a little too quickly. Darkness crossed her
features and she glared at me. I looked at her confused. "
No, they helped me see the truth, you're the only fucking people that
hurt me." I finally saw what she was looking for in her jacket. All of a
sudden she pulled out a gun, and pointed it to my head. "
Letty, ch-ch-chica, what are you doing?" I stammered. " Your brother took something I loved away from me,
I'ma take away something that he loves, it's called revenge sweety." I
looked at her terrified. " What the fuck are you
talking about Letty?" I grabbed the railing of the stairs, and dashed
upstairs.
Letty ran after me, I ran into
my room, and tried locking the door, but my hands were sweaty from being
nervous, and I couldn't grab a hold of the lock. Letty was seconds away from me
when I heard the front door open, and shouting from the guys. Letty turned
around surprised. " Mia, were home!" Dom
bellowed. I looked at Letty and she nodded. " I'm
up here Dom, and guess what? Letty's here!" The
whole team came running upstairs.
*Letty's Pov*
I was about to get the job done
when the team came flying up the stairs. First came my
so-called boyfriend, then Vince,
When I opened my eyes a bright
light blinded me. I groaned bringing a hand up to cover my eyes. I hissed as
pain shot through my hand. My eyesight finally cleared up and I looked down at
my hand, which had a needle in it. I groaned again closing my eyes. I was in
the hospital! I tried to sit up my hair falling all over my face. I remembered
everything, absolutely everything, from when I was born to now. I didn't know
what to do with myself. I had tried to kill Mia!!! I heard the door open and I
turned to see a blond doctor walk in. "Hello Letty, I'm Dr. Madison. How
are you feeling today and how are the babies?" I didn't answer I just
nodded and leaned back one hand pressed against my stomach. The doctor nodded
and said, "Well you are okay. We bandaged up your head and I know that you
are remembering everything fine so somebody is here to pick you up and take you
home." I just looked out the window the fight taken out of me. What had I
done? What could I have done? I barely glanced as the door opened again and a
nurse followed by Dom walked in.
*Dom's Pov*
I watched as the nurse took the
I.V. off of Letty's hand. When the nurse let it go it dropped as though Letty
had no will left in her. The nurse left handing me some maternity clothes that
Letty should wear. "Letty I need you to sit up so I can put some clothes
on you" I said softly running a hand down her cheek. She just sat up not
glancing at me just keeping her eyes on the wall in front of her. I took off
the hospital gown and placed the large shirt over her upper torso. Her stomach
was huge carrying my children. I smiled softly and ran my hand down her
stomach. I stood Letty up placing the maternity pants on her lower half. I
started walking and Letty trudged behind. God I loved her but this wasn't the
girl I knew. We got into the car and Letty stared
at the window, never once glancing in my direction. When we got to the house
she went straight up the stairs to our room and she hasn't come out for three
months.
I walk up the stairs ready to
find Letty lying on the bed not moving. But when I walked in she was sitting on
the bed her wavy hair covering her face. I walked around to the bed sitting
softly on the opposite side of her. She looked up at me for the first time in
months and said something that I never thought she would say "
I love you, Dom." When I turned around to look at her though her
face contorted in pain and she fell to the ground holding her stomach. Suddenly
water had surrounded her and she was breathing heavily. Letty was having the
babies. Letty was having my babies.
