We have added 2 more pre orders for our December litters. We now require deposits to be made to reserve a baby and the balance is to be paid based on the color of the baby. Parents are Grey snowflake mom and Brown Algerian Dad. Babies are expected to be born  in the next 2 weeks!

We accept up to 3 pre-orders for babies ahead of time but no more than 3! After the 3 have been received we will deactivate the automatic payment button. If for any reason we have fewer than 3 babies prepaid customers will have the option of being refunded or accepting 15% refund and a baby from the next litter. We require a non refundable deposit of $50 at time of pre-order reserve with balance to be be paid at time of pick up based on the hedgehog's color & sex.

If we have more than 3 in a litter we will post the additional babies here at 3 weeks of age but they will still not be allowed to go to new homes until they reach 8 weeks and are safe to leave! Any additional babies will be priced according to color. Check back often for any available babies by color. 

Please remember we breed only a handful of litters a year. For more selection and to request specific colors, sexes, etc. Please contact PHAT Exotics. - see our 'About Us' page. 

Why do we sell pre-orders? We won't breed any babies unless we KNOW there are already good homes waiting for them! We have previously only had litters to supply close friends and family. Should demand increase enough we may consider selling without any pre-orders in the future. We only have 'companion' animals. All of our animals see a Veterinarian and/or Veterinarian Technician before being deemed ready to go to your home. Please note that pet stores do not provide such health services!

Sorry, but we do not offer shipping at this time. 

We will not sell related males and females to the same home and we will not sell to pet stores or persons under 16 years of age without a parent/guardian.

We did recently raise our prices a bit to offset an increase at our vet and in general supplies and gas, if you pre paid previously at our old rate this will not affect you.

PRICING CHANGE COMING FOR 2009!

We will no longer accept pre orders in 2009. All babies will be sold by color with a $50 deposit collected ahead of time. Contact us for more information. Our mother has applied for a USDA license, upon her receiving her license she plans to breed many more litters from our location in Dallas. This is scheduled for 2009 but will most likely begin in November of this year 2008.

 A 'New Owner' questionnaire must be filled in to determine your eligibility. Once approved you will need to pre pay here and to sign an adoption contract when you pick up your baby.

Remember to ask land lords or Apts if keeping a hedgie at your place is ok before purchase! We will not refund you if you come to us later and tell us you can't get the baby anymore due to a renting issue.

PAYMENT:

You must be at least 16 years of age to reserve a baby hedgehog. Email us ahead of time to ask any questions  before you pre-order your baby hedgie! These are companion animals not intended for pet stores. A veterinarian issued receipt for proof of health and basic care guide will be presented to you at time of pick up. We do not accept personal or cashier's checks or partial deposits. We do not do 'holds' for anyone at any time. Cash must be delivered in person, debit and credit is processed through PayPal. Your pet must be picked up within no later than 7 days prior to the homing date shown here. READ the entire content of this page! You will be asked to sign a new owner's agreement at time of pick up.

We offer a lifetime genetic guarantee on our hedgehogs in our adoption agreement contract. (This does not include rescued pets): We will refund (or replace) on any animals that a licensed veterinarian (who is experienced in treating hedgehogs) has diagnosed with a genetic defect is found by him or her to be the fault of the breeder.

If for any reason we have fewer than 3 babies prepaid customers will have the option of being refunded or accepting 15% refund and a baby from the next litter. We do not refund people who didn't check with a land  lord or property management to see if they could legally keep a hedgehog in their home before paying! No refund on deposits.  Please completely read this page before sending payment. New owners may visit their baby at 4 weeks of age. Babies MUST be picked up Before the 5th of January 2009  We will not refund deposits if you don't pick up your hedgie and it will be sold to somebody else!
