Welcome to the TEX-SUNS website. On Ocober 27, 2006, Don and Shirl Prater, Assistant State Directors, presented our chapter charter certificate. A lot has been accomplished since we were chartered. Our members have a strong sense of pride in our chapter. We welcome the opportunity to discuss our chapter with you. Please check out our Members News section as well as the other sections of our web site. 
Our members are a fun-loving bunch and we enjoy seeing new places and exploring new areas. We also play games and just sit around and visit. There are pot luck suppers and dining out. We welcome families, and most of us have pets that camp with us. We meet the fourth weekend of each month. Our camp-outs are within one hundred-fifthy (150) miles of the Dallas-Ft. Worth metro area. We hope you can visit us at our next camp-out. Please check our camp schedule for 08.
