Location & Travel

I live in Altrincham, Cheshire (South Manchester/ Trafford). Tuition can take place in my home or in yours, depending on your preference. I can travel up to 20 miles from my home, however, please note that I charge a small amount for travel expenses (see Rates for details) and that the minimum length of a lesson is one and a half hours if you live more than 4 miles away from me .

Online Tuition

If for some reason you cannot travel, or if you would like tuition but worry about the costs, consider online tuition. Online tuition can work very well, especially for students who want to improve their writing skills, and it has the advantage of being more flexible than set lessons. Since it also tends to make things easier for me, I am able to offer online tuition at reduced hourly rates (See Rates ).

Online tuition can be conducted either via email (in which case the hourly rate is based on the time spent by me preparing information and writing emails), or per MSN Messenger if you prefer more direct contact (one hour on the Messenger counts as a one-hour lesson).
