Welcome to Teuton Tutorials!

Hi, my name is Lisa Wetzmuller and I am the person behind Teuton Tutorials. I am a native German speaker with a passion for language, literature and teaching, and I believe that learning a new language can be fascinating and fun for everybody.

What do I teach?

German: I teach German for all ages and abilities. Whether you are a beginner wanting to learn a new skill, or a student needing to improve your grades, I am confident that I can help!

English: I teach English up to A-Level. Though I am not a qualified teacher, I am very familiar with the National Curriculum, and I can assist with all aspects of it. Whether you are a mature student or would like tuition for your child, I can provide extra help with grammar, essay writing skills, and literature.

Who am I?

Born and raised in the Tyrolean Alps in Austria, I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master of Science degree in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh. After graduating from University, I spent one year working as a trainee for a renowned publishing company in London, before deciding to take the plunge and work full-time as a freelance tutor and writer. Due to the work commitments of my partner I moved to Manchester in March 2004, and have since been tutoring in the Trafford area.

How much experience do I have?

I started tutoring part-time while still at university, and have since been teaching at most times either full-time or part-time. I have taught most age groups, and I have experience with language tuition both for business and personal use.
