Only one week left to the competition.  We are going to Apolda on Wednesday and will try to update all exiting moments  We whish the The Norwgian team with:   Brynhild & Mezzrows Fabio,  Gerd-Mai & Arakias You and Me "Vilde" and Morten & Briska's Alex GOOD LUCK !!. 

We arrived in Apolda Thursday. Friday morning we joined Morten and Gerd-May to he trackingfields. It had been raining a lot during the week and was very wet clay-ground a couple of photoes in the album show this.... Later we went to the Stadium to follow the off. training of the different teams.  but also to meet our Swedish friends and of cource Matt who was the only participant from USA.   After the training it was presentation of the helpers with a couple of test dogs.  The helper for the short flight was very fast!! He was the same helper they used  in IDC IPO WM in  München 2 years ago when 19 ? dogs lost the arm on the flight after guarding in the blind.

Below some photoes from Friday - lucky the weather has became much better

Saturday Morten with Alex and Gerd May with Vilde should do their B and C work.  Unfortunately both dogs were loosing the helper in the flight and were stopped.  The helper was an extreme fast runner and they did not reach him and lost the grip in the arm.  Only 1 dog in the competition got full and correct grip.   7 dogs lost him in the flight...  Brynhild and Fabio did their tracking Saturday and ended on 82 points.  Sunday they  started in the first group with B and C . We were so proud of them as they did very well and ended on 5th place of 54 dogs with total score 268 pointsMorten and Gerd-May did their tracking Sunday and Alex ended on 87 and Vilde 79.
