Tessie and Eros
Working Dobermann

About us and our dogs...

John and I are living about 1 mile outside Oslo in a small place called Langhus.  We have  a small house with a large garden which are surrounded by large acres and forrest and only one neighboar nearby. Almost  all our sparetime we use on our dogs and our great passion are dogsport.  Today we have a female, Briskas Tessie who is 6 years old and her son Eros 1 year old.

We got our first Doberman from Kennel Doberhill in 1988.  Doberhill Brown Sean was a beautiful brown male.  He became NUCH and John was also training him in obedience and search.  He lived a long happy life and became 13th years old.

In 1990 we got a black  female,  Kilmyr's Dark Josefine.  She was trained by me in obedience and search.  She was a funny dog to work with and we joined several trainingcamps together. I compeeted with her in LP2 and in search C in the NBF program. She was doing it well in the showring as a young dog, but because her tail was crouped her show cariier stopped.  Josefine became 11th years old. In memory

In May 2000 Froncillas El Gringo was born.  John trained and competed with him in LP2 and tracking C in the NBF program. When he was 2 years old we got the interest for RIK and IPO. Gringo was a great dog for John to work with as he had a lot of temperament and working spirit. At that time Tessie was 9 months old and she became a little too much for me to handle in the C-work.  Roar Kjønstad was training her the first 2 years and took her to BH and IPO1 title.

We have joined several training camps in the Scandinavian workingprogram and the last 6 years several seminars in RIK  (Ipo) in Norway, Sweden and Belgium.

We have both beeing engaged in The Norwegian Doberman Club as members in the board and we have also been active in the working comitee for several years.

Dogtraining has become a lifestile and we have also learned to know a lot of great  people with the same passion during the years.  Some of them have been very good friends who we still have contact with
