My Family

My family consists of a total of six people.  My parents, and four children.  All four of us kids are into the dog training.

My Parents

Dustin

Dustin is my oldest brother, who is 19 years old.  Dustin has been training his dog, Dogy, in agility, obedience, and 4-H for going on six years.  He has qualified to go to the Ohio State every year of his five years in 4-H. Dustin and Dogy also qualified and competed in the UKC Junior Nationals last year.

Besides dog training, Dustin is interested in computers.

Dustin was a wrestler in high school.

Derek

Derek is the younger of my two brothers and is going to be 17 years old on Feb. 14th.  He has been training for going on six years with Summer, our blonde rescue girl.  He also began training Fudge three years ago.  He competes in agility, obedience, and 4-H.

Derek also trains a dog for my dog training instructors.  Sara is a belgian malinois and was rescued by my instructors.  When she first came to my instructors she was dog aggressive, and was extremely fearful of men with hats on.  We imagine she was beaten by one.   Derek has been able to put a few titles on Sara this past summer.

Tasha

Tasha is my twin sister, meaning she is also 15 years old.  Tasha trains both Pepper and Misha in 4-H, agility, and obedience.  Tasha has many 4-H first places in obedience and is now training Pepper in the Open level.  Tasha has also made it to and placed at the UKC Junior Nationals.

Tasha also trains dogs, like me, for my dog training instructors.  She trains a sheltie, Bopp, and an english springer spaniel named Della.

Della has just began trialing in UKC and has already got her Ag 1 title in just two trials.

Bopp is a tri-sheltie that was rescued by my dog training instructors.  When she first began in agility it was very rough, but her previous handler was a great trainer that eventually corrected her problems with jumps and weaves.  Due to her new job, she had to leave training classes for a while, and now my sister is training Bopp.
