ABOUT TERRY

My name is Terry Bedford, I have been making wooden toys now for some six years and selling them through local craft fairs. This has been quite successful but I thought it was time to get into the twenty first century and go on line. Hopefully this site will be full of the type of toys that are not often seen and will never be the "must have" toy for Christmas, they are the sort that your grandparents might have been given when they were young but are still as enjoyable today as they were then. So feel free to browse through the site to see what is available.

About my Toys

All the toys on this site are made from locally grown hardwoods except where specified, all finishes used are a water based acrylic and all toys are CE marked and comply with EN 71. the hardwoods used will vary depending on which type of wood is available for example the caterpillar in the photo is made from sycamore but the next batch I make will be in lime. All dimensions given are approximate. All toys on this site are intended to be played with and are not what my Mother called Sunday Best Toys and are built to withstand the ravages of children.

Delivery

All Orders will be sent out as soon as possible by first class Royal Mail. Due to the size and weight of the Toys the majority of orders will have to be sent out at their Packet Rate. At the moment I am unable to send web orders to anyone outside of the U.K. Should you wish an order to be sent to any other destination please contact me by e mail and I will try to arrange it for you
