2nd November 2008 - A night to remember

Last night was the end of Terry's show at the Komedia in Brighton and what a cracker it was!  With a more intimate venue and a different format with lots of extras it was a fantastic night and one to always remember!

The show included:

The absolutely amazing Brighton Bottle Orchestra reformed

A dig and a kick at the Jonathan Ross & Russell Brand topic

The lovely Hollingbury Jezebels

The stunning Rockettes!

Kate Cameron with her fabulous voice

The Dukes' Mound Male Voice Choir (I was in it on the Saturday performance)

 Was I the gay one?

And of course the man himself along with his witty humour and good looks...

4th September 2008 - Terry's birthday!

Our favourite local man Terry is now officially 54 today and I and all the fan if you're reading Tel wish you all the best for today and we'll see you at your upcoming shows soon!

16th August - Radio Reverb interview!

Unfortunately not Terry but I myself have been in the studio at Radio Reverb (partners to Juice and community radio station for Brighton)

The show that I have been interviewed on is called Side By Side and is a show designated for people with learning disabilities and blindness.  So the name reflects that by bringing people with these disabilities closer by listening to the show.

I was asked by the DJ Stuart Mcallion who also has these disabilities if I would like to do it and of course I said yes!

It was a pre-recorded show that we recorded at the Juice / Radio Reverb premises on Friday 15th August!

Now you're probably wondering why I am talking about this, but It's because Terry has something to do with it!

 Now I don't know the exact date of the show being aired but it will be this week at lunch time (12:00pm)

So listen to Radio Reverb at those times all this week to try and catch it!

You can do this by listening online at www.radioreverb.com or on the radio 97.2FM!

Don't fret though if you think you're going to miss it or are reading this after the date it was aired because I will have an MP3 of the show up soon and even maybe a video of recording the show!

Thanks very much to Stuart (DJ), Pat Mcallion (their Producer) and everyone else that helped out and did their bit to make it a great time!

8th August 2008 - Singalong Brighton The Musical to return!

Well on 16th March 2008, Terry announced that he was to do another singalong BTM as it was a great success!

Now exclusively to the fan site, I can reveal that although no exact date has been made, Terry will be back at the Dome in March 2009!

29th April 2008 - The Complete & Utter Terry Garoghan @ The Komedia - New show!

Despite Terry's last show being cancelled, a new show has been announced that will certainly make up for it!

It will be at the Komedia in Brighton for 2 nights! on:

Both shows will start at 7:30pm

It will be an eventful evening celebrating 25 years of Terry in show-biz.  Songs from Brighton The Musical will be played, but the extraordinary Brighton Bottle Orchestra that Terry was in will once again perform!

Terry says: "we will be looking back, looking forward and looking in places we have no bloody right to look.  I can promise you an evening of complete and utter entertainment.  Hence the title.

9th April - Terry Garoghan @ Concorde 2 cancelled!

I am sorry to say that this event has been cancelled and you will be fully refunded.

There has been no explanation to why it has been cancelled but my only thought is that they didn't sell enough tickets.

Great shame!

26th January 2008 - Lyrics to be sold on TerryGarroghan.com

 Lyrics for 50 of Terry's songs from his great Brighton The Musical will be on sale this Monday in a neat booklet for just £5 from Terry's new website and an assortment of shops throughout the city. 

Terry says that as well as the words to the songs there are saucy confessions, rude letters, naughty games, reminiscences, and a picture of a transvestite in St James Street. This book is a social document of our times.

He goes on to say “I believe this collection of lyrics gives a totally biased and unfair reflection of Brighton and it’s surrounding areas from 1990 to the present day.”

4th September 2007 - Terry's 53rd Birthday!

Happy birthday Terry! I and all the fans wish you the very best and hope you are well.

This years BTM went down a treat with people who had the seen the show before and people that were completely new to it. 

Terry still tried his charms and was still as rude as ever!

A great night out yet again from Terry and don't forget to get his new CD!

28h January 2007 - A very good night at the Hanbury Club!

Maddie Bridgett performed her variety T.V talk show tonight and went down a treat!  Very good performers including comedians, singer/song writers and The Bottletop charity!

Terry was interviewed in the bath tub and I had a little chat with him from my seat in the audience!  My video clips did get shown and went down very well!

The whole night was a great success and would gladly go again!

Absolute Brighton T.V filmed the whole thing and they launch their Internet T.V channel in about 8 weeks time! 

I will let you know when it comes on the net!

24th January 2007 - Terry Garoghan appearing on Maddie Live!

Terry Garoghan and other guests will be interviewed by Maddie Bridgett on her talk show!  The whole show will be recorded for T.V! 

I met Maddie and she asked me if she could use the Terry Garoghan video clips from his BTM 2006 show that I recorded.  I said yes and Maddie said that she might use this on the night! 

The show is at The Hanbury Club, St Georges Street in Kemptown on Sunday 28th January!  Get yourself down there and be apart of the audience!

Tickets are £6/4 and available on the door!

Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm!

5th September 2006 - Terry has unfortunately announced that he will be leaving the breakfast show!

Today, Terry said he is sad and disappointed to announce that Juice have not renewed his contract with him and will therefore have to leave. 

Terry's last show will be on Friday 15th September.

23rd December 2005 - Terry talks about Dockerills!

On Terry's radio show:  Waking Up Brighton, Terry said he spoke to two girls at Dockerills and that they might go on stage with him in Terry's Dockerills song at his next show on March 25th at the Dome!  There also might be a song about Saltdean or it being mentioned!

On 16th December, Terry mentioned on his radio show: Waking Up Brighton on  Juice 107.2 that he did a small gig for B&H council last night (Thursday 15th December) and that they were quite impressed!

30th November 2005 - Hints of new show date!

Terry, was giving hints on his radio show:  Waking Up Brighton on  Juice 107.2 that his new "Brighton The Musical" will be in March. 

October 28th 2005 - Terry Garoghan - Falmer Yes!

On Juice 107.2, Terry Garoghan had Ken Bodfish live in the studios and Ken announced that we got a "YES" to Falmer for The Seagulls new football Stadium!

September 26th 2005 - Terry Garoghan's new breakfast show has started!

Terry has now started his new show called "Terry Garoghan Waking Up Brighton" on Juice 107.2!  A page will soon be added just like the Last Bus To White'awk page!  I have a recording of the first show and I am asking Juice 107.2 soon if I can put it on this site along with some others in the future!

Terry Garoghan announced today in The Argus that on 26th September, Terry will be taking over the Breakfast show on Juice which at the moment is presented by "Brooksy".  It will be different but he is coming back!

The show will be called "Terry Garoghan Waking Up Brighton" and a page will be added just like the Last bus To White'awk page when the show starts and there is more info.

March 6th 2005 - Brighton The Musical 2005 went with a blast!
