"Brighton The Musical" is
"Brighton & Hove's" best show there is to see! Terry Garoghan is Brighton
& Hove's local celebrity and is responsible for this show and the number one hit
radio show,
"Terry
Garoghan's Last Bus To White'awk"
that started in 1998.
Brighton The Musical,
started in 1996 when he thought of the idea of taking an old pop song and
changing the lyrics to be about Brighton & Hove and surrounding areas!
Terry's first song was "I'm Not in Hove".
Over
fifty fantastic songs have since been written to cover some of the areas, but
Terry is still at it, working hard to cover all of Brighton & Hove and
surrounding areas! Even Hangleton and Burgess Hill have been covered!
There is probably no other place anywhere in the UK that has an entire show
about it, and a musical to boot. Which is why Terry Garoghan has made
Brighton & Hove and surrounding areas the most unique and enjoyable place to be!

My second time going to Terry's Brighton
The Musical was amazing! He claimed he would try and do all of his songs,
but unfortunately didn't! This doesn't stop it from being another great
show with all his rude and very funny comedy. Not to mention, just by
looking at him in his silky, shiny and odd coloured suits apparently from
Bangkok. Plus his shoes look like some animal slippers and he does it for
everyone just to say:: F**k Off BALDY!

What a classic, absolutely brilliant and could
only be done by our Terry!
The experience of Brighton
The Musical 2005
Brighton The Musical 2005 was probably the
best show I have ever seen! It was funny and had great songs involving places
in Brighton and surrounding areas. His bright pink suit shone in front of
the crowed with his "bling bling" and his funky fur shoes. It was a great
night out for everyone as people joined in with the jokes and when
he gave
out photos of him and sticks of rock. He did lots of rude and funny actions and of
course all of his brilliant musical songs, which made my night the best night I have had!
Terry once again was "The Unofficial Mayor Of Brighton" at the Dome and of
course it isn't his last!
The
first 3 following
photos at the top are taken with my phone and Tony's as our camera's went dead! All
of them accept one are all my photos taken with my phone as Tony got the
Brightness wrong on his phone and don't look very good, but one came out sort of
ok! I know some other friends who's family in the front row took some photos too which are shown
below!

1998
This show was
recorded on the 27th November 1998 at The Dome, Brighton.
Terry had no plans to stage the show again so it was going to be
the very last performance.
But of course, we now know that is defiantly not true and that
Terry has kept going and giving Brighton the best local
entertainment!
This show is also the only Brighton The Musical performance ever
to be recorded!
The evening was very interesting! There was a bomb scare
evacuation, which
delayed the start of the show, and in the audience there was the
man who accidentally
burned down part of the Royal Albion that same week
of the show. When Terry
introduces him, he gets a massive cheer... Where else
but in Brighton.
The footage caught the great atmosphere of the night of how it
was such an emotional and great show it was as the show was
completely sold out!
The show was only meant to be recorded for Terry's own personal
copy of the great show, but the popularity of the show persuaded
Terry to edit the highlights and make it publicly available to
share the great experience.
