Kristy Langford: What are your favorite horror films?
Terry West: Night of the Living Dead, Re-Animator, Last Man on Earth, The Exorcist, to name a few.
KL: What made you decide that you wanted to be a filmmaker?
TW: I grew up at the drive in. I guess that's why I enjoy making gory and sexy fare.
KL: How did you first get started making films for Seduction Cinema?
TW: They saw my first film, Blood for the Muse, and asked me to do some director for hire work with them.
KL: SATAN'S SCHOOL FOR LUST is one of my faves. What was it like to work with Darian Caine and Misty Mundae?

TW: Thanks, I enjoy Satan's School myself. It's cheesy, but fun. Darian and Misty are wonderful to work with. Both extremely down to earth.
KL: Have you experienced any problems being taken seriously as a filmmamker because of your involvement with Seduction Cinema?
TW: It's a catch 22, I wouldn't have a career if I hadn't done the movies for EI. But, by the same token, it has been difficult to break out of the Seduction Cinema mold. I don't regret doing the movies. They were fun. But now it's time to explore darker avenues. I would like to think I left my mark in the exploitation field. But now it's time to focus on what makes me happy as a creator.
KL: What attracts you to horror films? Do you have any plans on making any other types of films in the future, like comedies and such?
TW: I would like to do dark comedy. I think I have a penchant for it. You know, I was at the Avalon (formerly Limelight) in NYC last week for a Flesh for the Beast party. Some girl, who had seen Flesh, was quizzing
me on why my work was so dark. "Why aren't your movies butterflies and rainbows?", she asked. I can't say why. I like that darker genres. Maybe I work things out there, and that's why I am such a nice guy.
KL: I am really looking forward to seeing FLESH FOR THE BEAST. What can you tell me about this film?

TW: It is a cross between Legend of Hell House and Lifeforce, It is extremely influenced by the old euro horror. It is gory and sexy. It is excessive.
KL: Out of all the films that you have made, which one do you consider your most favorite? Which film is your least favorite?
TW: Well, I suppose Flesh would have to rate as my favorite, because it is an actual movie, not comedy sketches wrapped around implicit lesbian sex. I think my worst work is Sexy 6th Sense. It should have been a half hour short. Instead, it's a painful 70 minute music video wrapped around a five minute storyline.
KL: In your honest opinion, what do you think is the hardest part about being a filmmaker?
TW: Getting people to trust your vision. No matter how many films I make, it's still difficult. I think that's why I prefer self-producing, you know. I think that's where my future is.
KL: Are there any new projects that you are currently working on?
TW: I am currently preparing BLOOD FOR THE MUSE: THE OMEGA EDITION. It is a remastered Blood for the Muse with added scenes, commentary, etc. I hope to have it finished by early next year. There are several pet projects I want to do. I'll keep you posted!
KL: Before we go, is there anything that you want to say to everyone out there that will be checking this interview out?
TW: My debut novel, DREG, is out. You can buy it at Amazon. If you like my work, please buy this book!
KL: I really want to thank you for taking the time to do this interview with me. You are so cool!
TW: Thank you! You rock!
