Tennessee Constitutional Militia

16th. Volunteer Field Force 3rd. Brigade M.E.T.

Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, who are not only prepared to take up arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily lives, and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom."  - President John F. Kennedy

With Freedom comes responsibility.  As a citizen of these United States, you enjoy the freedoms and liberty paid for by the millions who have defended this nation over the past 200+ years. You have a duty and obligation to preserve that liberty for future generations.

Today we live in uncertain times. Crime, civil unrest, terrorism, natural and manmade disasters are on the rise. What will you do to serve and protect your family, neighbors and community? What will you do if 911 is to busy to help you?

Join your local militia. They are not the racist, anti-government extremists the media has mislead you to believe. We are your friends and neighbors. We are doctors, lawyers, farmers, law enforcement officers and factory workers. In fact, the militia is the Original community-based, "Neighborhood Watch and Citizen Emergency Responce Team" made up of ALL American citizens. It's mission is to serve the local community and protect the Rights of ALL Americans. Did you know that by law (USC 10, Sec.311), if you are a male between the ages of 18 and 45, YOU are already a member of the unorganised militia? And as such, it is your civic duty to equip, train and prepare for the "common" defense of your local community.

The Tennessee Constitutional Militia is looking for a "few good men" who are willing to make a commitment to serve. If you decide to join, you will be expected to meet certain minimum equipment and training standards, devote one day per month to training, subscribe to and abide by the Code of Conduct and the Mission Statement.

Of course you are free to walk away without obligation. The militia has no physical hold on you. But, can you so easily walk away from the cause of freedom. The lofty principles of Liberty are not easily forgotten by those who have once enjoyed it. How much less can the light of Liberty be forgotten or ignored by people like you and me who are seeing with our own eyes the attempts to destroy it forever?

Hopefully you see the dangers on the horizon. Indeed, the perils to our libertes are already upon us! But perhaps you are inclined to run away rather than face them. If that's the case, then we will leave you with the words of Samual Adams who in 1776 said...

"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."
