Benjamin Tennyson, or Ben for short, is your normal 10-year-old boy, who does everything what a kid does. When the last day of school arrived, he expected to have a great summer camping trip with his Grandpa Max, at least, until his 10-year-old cousin, Gwen had to come along.
Later that night after casting off for the start of their vacation, Ben decides to wander off into the woods for awhile, and eventually spots in what appeared to be a shooting star. It headed straight for him, and inside the mysterious meteor held a device, called the Omnitrix. With it, he was given the unique ability to transform into ten different alien heroes, each with their own unique power and strength.
Now, he realizes how hard being a hero can be, especially after the recent encounter with the alien conqueror, Vilgax, who planned to take the Omnitrix and use it to create an army for his own selfish ways. But no matter how hard the task may be, or what form he may take, he is still the same good-hearted, yet sometimes mischievous, 10-year-old boy inside. |

When Ben is ready to dive headfirst into trouble, Gwen Tennyson is the voice to keep him away from it. She is always current, thinking of what the consequences may be, especially when it involves with Ben. She uses her laptop to research on any strange things they may come across. Although Gwen and Ben may bicker a lot, she uses most of her ability to help out Ben. Deep down inside, she respects her cousin after all theyve been through since that incident, though she does not like to show it.
She has her own hero identity, Lucky Girl, and it has given her the opportunity to feel what being a hero is like. This power is granted upon her only through the lucky charm of Bezel, but her time as a hero was short after deciding that she is better off to be herself.
She has also experienced how her life would be with the Omnitrix, though it was only through Ben's eyes, who experienced how much Gwen feels about being the one who isn't recognized by others. |

Max Tennyson, or as Ben and Gwen call him, Grandpa Max, is their grandfather. He has a keen sense in adventure, and that usually leads them to odd, yet interesting situations. When the final school bell rings in the summer, Ben is excited to go to the planned camping trip with his Grandpa, but with Gwens appearance, Bens excitement is immediately drawn off. Grandpa Max was in the army, and he has been through a lot in the past, and the recent incident with Ben and the Omnitrix has led his retired life into even more twists and turns. He tries to help Ben in anyway he can, and his knowledge acquired from the past has benefited them along the way. With the confrontation of Vilgax, Ben and Gwen start to question whether their grandfather really was what he claims to be. But it was immediately brought to light that he has worked with a secret organization, called "The Plumbers." His grandkids have seen something even more than just an ordinary plumber, and their bond has never been closer together. |
