Templeton Warmbloods is a small breeding operation founded by Kim Martin (nee Thurling) after buying 'Indiana' (Argentille Ilkay x Ludendorf) from Auction of the Stars in 2000. Indiana's half sister 'Si Joli' by Salute, was purchased in 2001 and produced two exceptional foals, a colt by Jive Magic (Templeton Jeronimo) and a filly by De Niro (Templeton De Lacey). The colt was sold and the filly was retained as a future riding horse, but due to injury is now a very valuable broodmare.

In 2007, Templeton De Lacey produced (through embryo transfer) a world class filly (Templeton Fantasia) by the top German sire ‘Fidertanz’. Fantasia sold to Georgie Ray of Brockhurst Warmblood Stud in South Australia. In 2008, De Lacey foaled another filly (Templeton Faberge) by Fidertanz, who looks like she will be just as outstanding as her full sister! Georgie Ray was so impressed with Fantasia, that she purchased Faberge as well!
De Lacey is in foal Lord Sinclair and this future foal has already been sold!
Kim spends countless hours researching suitable sires for her mares. The sire's movement, type and conformation must compliment the mare's movement, type and conformation, but most importantly the sire has to have a trainable temperament.
Although Kim is currently living in Perth, WA, her horses are agisted on a horse property in Kilmore, Victoria.
Kim has ridden since she was 8 years old and has competed in showjumping, showing, eventing and dressage events.
Kim is currently the AWHA (Australian Warmblood Horse Association) (WA) Registrar (since 2006) and was AWHA Victorian Registrar (2001 to 2003) and President (2003 to 2005).
