Gold:
Attributes - Intelligence, Balance, Speed
Skills - Martial Arts, Gold Draconium Powers of Legend
Gold is the “basic” color of all draconiums. All dragons were originally gold and Old-City was built from mined gold draconium that is said to give off an eerie glow when a human or dragon passes. Before the original dragon-human war, dragons had been bred into the different colors that are seen today, but the original Dragon Booster and Beau changed all dragons back to gold.
Many of the gold dragons were also known a “star dragons,” due to the star-shaped bonemark on the top of their heads. Beau is the last of these dragons, and in being such is the most powerful dragon out there. Gold dragons can use any color gear, as all colors came from them.

Green: Bull
Attributes - Strength, Will, Endurance, Power, Tenacity
Skills - Demolition
Green dragons were bred for demolition, and are seldom seen in races. They are mostly for wrecking, pulling, and most heavyweight jobs. These dragons are low to the ground, with short legs and bulky bodies. Their head is held fairly close to the collarbone, but can apparently be extended. These dragons come in handy for any person who has a job that requires much physical exertion.

Red: Magma
Attributes - Speed, Intensity, Maneuverability, Loyalty
Skills - Sprinting, Jumping
Red dragons are dragons bred for speed and intensity, and in being such are often used as racing dragons. They do not seem to make much in the strength department, but make up for it in their racing capabilities. They are usually biped, with shorter arms and muscular legs. They are common in Dragon City, and seem to be one of the most common draconiums in racing.

Black: Psi
Attributes - Speed, Intelligence, Power, Agility, Psi Power
Skills - Martial Arts, Psi, Intimidation, Communication
Black dragons were bred for intelligence, intimidation, and agility, and are also seen many times in races. They are closer to the all around dragon, they are not as fast as red dragons and not as strong as brown or green, but they can have strengths and weaknesses in each area. They are mostly quadruped, with dark blue or purple colorations. They are popular with many of Down City, but are not as often seen in Mid-City.

Blue: Energy
Attributes - Speed, Protection, Teamwork, Quickness, Precision, Acrobatics
Skills - Martial Arts, Leaping
Blue dragons were bred for speed and agility. They’re deadly precise, but, like their riders, are very honorable, and believe that peace and order are important things to maintain. There are both quadruped and biped blue dragons, and are popular throughout Dragon City.

Purple: Pack
Attributes - Communication, Tracking, Intelligence
Skills - ?
Purple dragons were bred for their ability to work well in groups. This ability can be both a strength and a weakness. Without a leader, these dragons are basically helpless, but with their leader, these dragons can become a force to be reckoned with. Purple dragons are mainly biped, and are not as popular as some other draconiums.

Orange: Control

Orange dragons are said to be bred for one thing, the dragon-human war. These dragons use orange forcing gear to snatch unwary riders and make them serve their dragon masters. They are easily angered and most believe that dragons should rule over humans. These dragons are biped, usually with the upper area of their brain exposed. These dragons mainly live in Old City, in the Track of Doom, and are seldom seen in Mid-City.

White: Sky
Attributes - Speed, Recklessness, Spontaneity
Skills - Jumping, Stunts, Breaking Stuff
White dragons were bred for the spontaneity and recklessness needed to perform the stunts asked of them. They are known for their impulsiveness, and wish to go higher, faster, and further, and care less about winning. These dragons are seen in many races, and many times do fairly well.

Light Green: Scavenger
Attributes - Protection, Speed, Stealth
Skills – Escape
Light-green dragons were bred for intelligence and stealth. Most live in the abandoned Old City with the Keepers crew. They scavenge things that have fallen from above to take and make new things with. They are seldom seen, but are known to be biped and are smaller than most dragons.

Gray Bone Dragons:
Gray bone dragons are reclusive and seldom seen. Most of the grays alive today have been altered, making them much easier to control than a pure gray bone dragon.
Gear made from gray bone dragons' exobones can mesh with any draconium. Gray bone dragons use your opponents draconium power against themselves, making them always a force to be reckoned with. These dragons will only attack if their opponent attacks them.

Light Blue: Nautilus

Light blue dragons are adept at all terrain racing. They seem to have some marine attributes, including the roar, which can sometimes have a dolphin-like sound mixed into it. These dragons are quite agile, able to maneuver around almost any obstacle in their path. These dragons are more heavily built than red or blue dragons, and in being such are not as fast, but are capable of more physical exertion.
Brown: Earth

Brown dragons were bred for excavation and strength. These dragons are extremely heavily built, but it’s all muscle. These dragons are not the tallest, but possibly the heaviest set. Brown dragons are not fast, having been bred for their ability in the dirt, their legs are low to the ground and their backs are rather tall, so they have very little in the way of stride.
Turquoise: Sonic

Turquoise dragons are heavily built and low to the ground, much like brown and green dragons. They tend to have a bit more stride than the other two, though, and are therefore a bit faster than their counterparts. These dragons are not often seen in racing, since their heavily built bodies and would not allow for fast movement, but it would appear that they have been built for endurance.
