Chapter Master Belorus

Belorus is a veteran of countless battles and is amongst the oldest and wisest of his chapter.

He came to command the Legion of Fury with Koris about 50 years ago after their Master, Dolur was killed fighting Tyranids from Hive Fleet Kraken near Ichar IV. Belorus personally fought back a tide of aliens with a Heavy Flamer after all his brothers around him had died and managed to carry the Chapter Masters body back to the Legions firebase under constant attack

Belorus has since led the chapter in numerous attacks against Tyranid splinter fleets of Leviathan and invasions and is constantly engaged in battles with the Tau. His strategies and tactics are brilliant, he has a keen eye and knows how to use each of his battle brothers to their optimum ability.

Compared to the rest of his brethren he is a calm and consolidated leader but in battle he can be just as fierce a warrior as those he commands.

Chapter Master Koris

Chapter Master Koris is the complete opposite of Belorus in terms of personality. He is a fierce and brutal warrior who epitomises the Legion of Fury's style of combat and doctrine like no other. He is known for his daring raids, full frontal assaults into heavily defended positions and what may seem to be reckless bravado. These dangerous tactics have always worked in his favour though and the brutality of Koris' assaults has often been enough to break the strongest defences.

Before becoming joint Chapter Master he was Captain of the 1st Company and is the strongest warrior of all the Legionnaires, unmatched in strength or martial skill among his brothers.

Though the two commanders have different mindsets, they tend to balance each other out and being brothers in arms and longtime companions they know each other's strengths and weaknesses and can formulate great strategies with their combined minds.

Chaplain Daeus

Chaplain Daeus is a powerful and ruthless combat veteran but is also a strong leader of faith and instills unshakeable devotion from his battle brothers. He has fought alongside the Belorus and Koris for decades as Chaplain of the 1st Company and is one of their most trusted advisors.

He is always amongst the first Marines to drop into battle and leads the charge personally. At times he will be given full command of a battlegroup as the respect given to him from the other members of the chapter is near unparalleled save for Chapter Masters themselves.

Chief Librarian Y'reles

Head of the house of Librarians in the Legion, Y'reles is a powerful psyker who is amongst the chapter's high council. He is the keeper of the chapter's history and archives aboard their space fortress and he decides who may enter the highly restricted Inner Librarium.

In battle Y'reles wields his powers in a way that strikes fear into the hearts of all who oppose the Legion, conjuring images of death, destruction and unbearable pain and implanting it into his enemies' minds. All who look into his glowing white eyes run in terror as they are cut down by the merciless Marines.

He is recorded in the long list of Heroes of the Imperium as managing the great feat of having beaten an Eldar Farseer in pyschic combat, one of very few Imperial warriors to ever do so. Though the battle was draining on the Librarian, in the end it made him a stronger psyker and earned a great deal of respect amongst his peers.
