Times

The venue is usually open by 19:00; by 19:30 there are usually a number of our members in attendance. Start time is 19:45. Finish time is 22:00 prompt (the venue is open until 23:00, however). Please note that a 10-15 minute 'half-way' break is usual (about 20:45).

Capacity

The venue comfortably accommodates about 50 people, though average attendance is usually less than this.

Projector

The Society has its own manual slide projector which can be used provided you notify us in advance. It takes 'standard' Agfa carriers. The projector is not kept at the venue! Although manual, you can usually find a willing volunteer to drive it!

Projector Stand

The Society has an adjustable projector stand which is usually available at short notice.

Screen

The Society has its own screen which is usually available at short notice.

Microphone and speakers

These are available provided you notify us in advance - 'quiet' speakers will benefit from this as the venue's 'competition' from the bar can get rather loud as the evening progresses.

Video

The Society has a VHS video player & remote control which can be used provided you notify us in advance.

DVD

The Society has a DVD Player which can be used provided you notify us in advance.

Television

The Society has a colour TV which is usually available at short notice.

Power Sockets

There are numerous 13A power sockets around the room, though an extension cable is always useful.
