Welcome!
This site was last updated on 17 September 2017. Please note: Our other site at www.tgb150m.com has now been removed.

Our GALLERY was updated on 21 January 2016.

Next trip: Sunday 1 October, Wirral Bus & Tram Show, Birkenhead

STOP PRESS: following the announcement in July that the Electric Railway Museum in Coventry is to CLOSE, we are planning to attend the venue on it's FINAL OPEN DAY on Sunday 8 October 2017. More details will be available soon.
Meanwhile visit http://electricrailwaymuseum.co.uk/

An appeal: Reproduced below is a black and white image of 2236 in Altrincham in its early days (circa 1972, we think, as it was still allocated to Princess Road depot). If you took the photo, or know who did, or if you are the driver or a passenger, please get in touch!

Thanks also to the anonymous person who sent the negative to Kevin in August 2014.

10 Nov 2015: Ralph Bennett RIP
Ralph Bennett was the General Manager of Manchester Corporation Transport who was responsible for the introduction of the ‘Mancunian’ bus design to the City before later moving on to London Transport; he passed away on 10 November 2015. There is a fitting tribute on the ‘net (please paste the link below into your address bar as FreeWebs' Link Generator is not working):
