In the Heart of the Stangre Nebula

The setting for this art piece is the Small Magellanic Cloud, just outside our own Milky Way Galaxy.  A small galaxy slowly being pulled apart by our own galaxy's overwhelming gravitational forces.  It is a region filled with beautiful blues and a fitting place to imagine.

With the exception of the planet in the foreground, this artwork is entirely fractal.  This is a new style of art developed from the fractal artform, designing multiple fractals to fit together and form an illusion.  In essence, I weave light into illusion.

Bullet Burn

Bullet Burn is a test of my adapting techniques I used when I used to paint with just a touch of fractal elements.  Painting with a trackball is tedious and slow, nearly 250 hours into this piece so far and as many to go likely.  When I'm finished, printed at a wall mural this artwork will be so close to photo quality that you'd swear you could step up onto the boulder and take a stroll through my imagination.  ;-)
