 The story as Kate told me:
Zac asked Kate to fly down the night of Carnegie because they needed to have a serious talk. Originally, Kate was just going to stay at home to finish up school work. Kate was extremely nervous, she thought he was gonna break up with her. Right after Zac's call, Kate called Natalie's cell and asked her what was up. Natalie acted like Zac was gonna break up with Kate or something. So as soon as Kate got a flight, Micah and Natalie met her at the airport and drove her to their hotel. She didn't see Zac until later that night and when she finally saw Zac she asked if everything was okay and stuff. He said that he really needed to talk to her. They both sat down and Zac started reciting a poem. Zac got on his knees and asked "Will You Marry Me?" Kate was shocked and of course said "YES!!" Natalie, Taylor, Isaac, Walker, Diana, etc all came out and started clapping. Kate started crying tears of joy, so did Natalie and Diana.



Yesterday, Dana emailed me and said that their was a engagement article for Zac and Kate in the Newnan Times-Herald. I fished the newspaper out of the trash and found it. The article is yucky from the trash but I'm going to go buy a new issue today.

Michelle and Andrew of Newnan annouce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn to Zachary Hanson, son of Walker and Diana of Tulsa, OK.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Northgate High School. She is currently a finance major at Georgia State University.

The groom is a graduate of Keystone National High School. He is a talented musician and owner of 3CG Records.

A June, 2006 wedding is planned.

Zachary Hanson, the youngest brother of the pop band Hanson, announced today to his family and friends of his engagement to his long time girlfriend of almost 2 and half years, Miss Kathryn Rebecca Tucker.
The 20 year old celebrated her birthday less than 10 days ago, and said that she was over whelmed by Zachary?s proposal.
Miss Tucker, former model and trainee actress told friend?s that this has been everything she could ever wish for, not only did the model win Newnan?s Teen Angel in November, but she has recently taken up a role in a short play at the Morris Brown College, where she will be playing the part of Elizabeth Westwood in a production created entirely by the students at the college.
Zachary?s brother?s Isaac (23) and Taylor (20) say at first it was a shock that their younger brother had proposed to the 20 year old from Georgia, but say they couldn?t be happier.
Taylor Hanson of Tulsa, Wed, Natalie Anne Bryant, June last year. Natalie Hanson and Kathryn Tucker attended the Northgate high school together, both graduating with high honors. They remained friends ever since.
