Crow- Chapter 1

Hello, my name is Crow. I am a Teen Titan. I did not become one by just helping the Titans save the day, or stopping some insane dude from taking money from the bank. What I did was much different. Let's start from the beggining, shall we?

It was a cold October morning, 4:30 AM. I was half awake thinking about things that had happend this week. Things I wasn't allowed to talk about. I sighed as I rolled over to face my wall. I was scared. No... Terrified. I knew I couldn't call the cops or that man would find out and would kill me. I needed to find someone who I could tell that would protect. Then it hit me. Actually, it hit my wall and smashed it into peices on the floor. I sat up and saw who it was that could help me. It was the Teen Titans!

"What are you doing here?" I said sitting up and gasping.

Robin smirked. "We're here to help you. We heard someone threatening to hurt you if you called the cops on him." He handed me a suitcase. "Pack up. We need to hurry before someone sees us and thinks we're trying to hurt you."

"And don't worry about your parents wondering where you are. We gave them a call yesterday after we heard what was going on." The purple haired goth brushed some dust off her arms.

Slowly I got up and opened my drawers and started packing my things. Were they really the Teen Titans? Was I dreaming? How could I know if they really wanted to help me? Hundreds of questions ran through my head as I finished packing my things. I closed the suitcase and picked it up. "I'm ready." The words almost stuck to my throat.

The green shape shifter grinned and grapped my suitcase from me. "Bombs away!" He shouted and threw my suitcase out the giant hole in the wall. Slowly one by one the Titans jumped out of the hole while I stood there wide eyed.

"My mom is so going to kill you if she see's what you did." I looked down and noticed my room wasn't too far from the ground. I took a deep breath and jumped out. I landed with a soft 'thud' between Cyborg and Robin.

"You ok? That fall looked like it might have hurt." Cyborg helped me up and I dusted some dirt off my pajamas pants.

"I'm fine." I smiled at the half human half machine. "Thanks."

Beast Boy came over and grabbed my stuff. He put it inside the trunk of the T-car. I smiled and I watched him trying to reach the top of the trunk. He wasn't exactly tall enough to reach it. I watched as the top was swallowed by darkness and set down to it's closed position.

The fact that Raven used her power to shut the trunk made Beast Boy extreamly mad. "That's not fair! I almost had it!"

"Sure you did BB!" I lauged and ran my hand through my soft blue hair. Next to me Starfire giggled happily. "He's so short." I said to her as I climbed in and sat next to Raven.

"Oh yes! I agree!" Starfire giggled again and sat on the other side of me.

Seconds turned into minutes as minutes turned into hours. I didn't understand why we had to drive in and out of town. Maybe it was because they DIDN'T tell my parents what had happend and figured just incase someone tried to follow, they would cover their tire tracks with someone elses to throw off the police. I shrugged. Maybe my imagination was fooling me. I closed my eyes and driffted off to sleep.

Chapter 2
---
Crow awoke the next morning facing her wall. She blinked and slowly started to sit up. So many questions ran through her head. 'Was that real?' 'Why did the Titans come to me?' 'How do they know what's going on?' The most most puzzling question of all hit her. 'Why do i feel so at home when I'm around them!' She shook her head and got up. She rubbed her eyes and went downstairs to get some breakfast. She slowly opened the door. This wasn't home. This was another place.
"Where am I?" She looked around and blinked. "Was... that dream real?" She panicked slightly and headed back into her room. She was scared and didn't know what to do. Should she ask them questions, call the cops, or run away? Crow burried her face in her hands and sat down onto her bed.
---
"Do you think she's up yet?" Beast Boy looked over at his leader who was currently looking through some files.
"I doubt it... She's been up most of the night and who knows what time she went to bed." He looked up for a moment and stared at his team through masked eyes. "But we can't just sit here and wait. Starfire, you can understand kids more than any of us. You go up and talked to her."
"But Robin-"
He looked at Raven. "I know you want to talk to her Raven... But you can't yet. She needs time to let this all sink in."
"I understand..." The gothic girl looked at the floor sadly. Beast Boy looked and blinked then quickly started to back away from the now emotional Raven.
---
"Okay... I need to get out of here... But how! And where will I g-" There was a knock on Crow's door. She gulped and slowly opened it. "Y-yes?"
"I wish to speak to you, Crow Dare."
"O...kay then.." Crow moved out of the door allowing Starfire to enter. "I just have a few questions for you..."
"Before you ask any, I wish for you to... listen." She slowly smiled at the blue haired girl.
"How will I know if you're telling the truth?"
"I would never lie to my friends chi-...people."
"Okay then..." Crow shifted slightly, unsure of what to do. Should she listen to this alien girl or ignore her?
"Well you see... What happened was..." Starfire thought of a way to explain this to Crow without making it to complicated. "Perhaps you should ask Robin..." She grabbed the blue haired girls hand and dragged her to the main room where the other titans sat. As soon as they entered the room went as a silent as a graveyard.
"Umm.. Star? Why did you bring her down here? Don't you remember what was talked about earlier?" Robin looked at his alien friend and she smiled nervously.
"I could not find a way to exlpain to her why she is here..."
Robin sighed. Okay... i'll explain." He sat Crow down and sat next to her. "You see... your mot- er... Raven over there... " He guestured over to his now hooded gothic friend. "Has been practicing to see into the future. She finally mastered it and she was looking at other peoples futures. She ended up seeing your family's. That person who threatened you is stalking your mom. He was the one who killed your father. He's also the reason why we break up in the near future."
"But... why did you kidnap me?"
"Because you're the only person who can help us."
Crow stared at them for a long time. "I don't see how I can be a help. I can't even help my mom."
"Crow..." Robin looked at her. Even though she did not look at him, she could tell he was serious and slightly worried. "You need to stop thinking like that. You have a hidden power, you just don't know it yet."
Crow stood up and glared at him. "How would you know! You kidnapped me! You know nothing about my parents! Neither my mother nor my father had any powers!"
Raven walked over to Crow and put her hands on her shoulders and spoke softly to Crow. "Eve Crow Dare... Listen to me right now."
"H-how do you know my full name!" Crow's eyes began to burn with tears as she tried her best to hold them back.
"Because..." Raven looked at Robin who nodded slightly. "I am your mother.(Hahah... starwars!)" She pulled off her hood and looked at Crow who stared shocked at Raven.
"No... You can't be!" She wanted to run. Run far away from these people. But she couldn't. All she could do was stand there and cried.
"Shhh... It's ok Crow..." Raven hugged her daughter. "Just calm down..."

It took a few minutes for Crow to calm down, but she finally did.
"You... can't be my mom. You're too young..." She stared at Raven.
"Okay... this is the complicated part. This isn't your time. You're not suppose to be here for another 10-11 years. We drove in and out of town last night so you wouldn't know that we were taking you back here. To the past."
"My...head hurts." Crow stared blankly at Raven.
"Great," She sighed. "This is going to take longer than I thought."
