after the numerous SAFE AS MILK and MIRROR MAN combinations, record companies now start to indulge us with a new series which also includes tracks from the 'strictly personal' period. as usual, the latest mixed bag is almost the same as the previous zig zag wanderer (the best of the buddah years). the only difference is that 'safe as milk' from I MAY BE HUNGRY BUT I SURE AIN'T WEIRD has been dropped in favour of three of the instrumentals from that album: 'moody liz', 'big black baby shoes' and 'dirty blue gene'. i don't know why, but it looks like the beautiful front cover is the most exciting part….
