in december 2000 a bother and sister from detroit with the last name of white (he sings and plays guitar and piano, she's drumming) brought out a single with notably three beefheart covers. the a-side is filled with PARTY OF SPECIAL THINGS TO DO, an exception from the disgusting bluejeans and moonbeams album. the flipside contains CHINA PIG from trout mask replica and ASHTRAY HEART from doc at the radar station.

(those black stripes are scan imperfections)however, this must-be-nice was brought out as a part of a members-only 'singles club collection' by sub pop records. it even was pressed on red and white swirled vinyl to make it more desirable, but so few - 1300 - copies were made that it already has been sold out! thus i'll never be able to tell you more... for the rest, all i can do is link to those white stripes.
