i still have lots of copies left over of my 'fan'tastic survey of covered
beefheart songs. it really is a shame! for they're all there: nearly 100
versions by more than 53 bands, and information about the places (mainly
records) where you can hear and even obtain them. believe me: a deep research
like this was never done before. of course it includes the three tribute
albums, but also highlights artists like swine art, the evil superstars,
whipped cream, claw hammer and much more unexpected bands. considering
it is the first bake of an un-opened area it's an amazing successful effort
to index this part of captain beefheart's influence on other musicians.
or maybe the ridiculous low price i ask for
the 40+pages summary is too suspicious: i have to admit i myself wouldn't
buy anything which ONLY costs FIVE
US DOLLARS and has the POSTAGE INCLUDED. dear me, i'm afraid
i'm gonna get stuck with this load of optimistic publications, and really
have to use it as give-aways! so, if there are humans who pity me, e-mail
me and you'll get my address to send your money to, and soon you'll receive
your special, numbered copy.
CONCLUSION:
