Amnesiac Memoirs

Inside
by Ted L Glines

Deep within
thinking mind
peeking in your window
late at night
seeing your private
space
your wrists and ankles bound
squirming squealing moaning
inferno orgasm
in your pain
your agony of fear
one cut at a time
time is endless pain
reversed crosses
so many of them
one for every time
you slighted me
carved slowly
in your trembling
bleeding flesh
no one will come
to help you
mercy will only come
with my final slash
your anguish feeds me
I am your worst nightmare
your friendly neighbor ...

When you get inside the mind of a serial killer or abuser, you find that Hell is not some distant place, not an arcane Revelation clumsily penned by some Greek author. No, indeed, you find that Hell walks among us, helps us at the checkout stand, maybe sits along side us in our pew.

The images produced through your words are extremely visual, as are the victim's cries of anguish.

Sadly, serial killers and abusers look just like you and me, and generally behave quite "normally." It is frightening. The devil walks among us freely and sows much goodness that translates into a horrible sadness.

Ted,
This is so relevant, 'cause ya just never know what's inside the mind of the monster on the pew next to you.

Now that's scary! A thought provoking write that's for sure...makes one stop and take a longer look at those that we encounter on a daily or weekly basis such as the bag boy at the local IGA, the man who pumps our gas, or carries out the feed from the feed store...it's hard to understand what would cause a human being to be so vicious and cold hearted! Makes me wonder what their life was like as a child...a compelling write!

I don't know about serial killers, but I have an encyclopedic knowledge about the sadistic mind ot the abuser which becomes mad when the victim loses the fear and fights back.
Nice and horrifying piece not from the point of view of the killer but from the victim coming back for revenge.
