Teddy Geiger says It's hard to have a girlfriend right now. I dont' think it's really fair. It's hard with long distance. airdryxx asks have you had any crazy fan experiences? Teddy Geiger says No, I wou;dn't say crazy. There's like the phone calls you get. I go to an all boys school and a girl phoned for my math homework. She didn't know that I went to an all boys school. Mich531 asks did you do anything special for your 17th birthday? Chat Host says I just kinda hung out with my friends back home. We at cake and ice cream. jUsTtHeGiRlTC5 asks When your away from home what do you miss the most? Chat Host says My friends and family. Lately i've got to see them pretty often but before that I didn't get to see them for a few months. jUsTtHeGiRlTC5 asks How did you get started writing music? Teddy Geiger says My dad was the biggest non music guy ever but my mom has a really deep respect for music. Teddy Geiger says My whole life I kinda wrote and got better at it as time went on. chelclynn asks Hey Teddy, What is your favorite song to perform? Teddy Geiger says Gentlemen is my favorite song to perform which is on the album "underage Thinking" which is coming out Valentine's Day. It's really soft to start out with and by the end it's really high energy. HiLi17 asks When was your first public performance? Teddy Geiger says Probably like a year and a half ago at a coffee shop in my home town of PIttsford. Teddy Geiger says It was the BIGGEST blizzard of the entire winter so only my friends and my parents showed up. jUsTtHeGiRlTC5 asks Do you have any siblings? Teddy Geiger says I do. I have a younger brother and a younger sister. My brother just started playing drums. jUsTtHeGiRlTC5 asks Are you excited about your album coming out soon? Teddy Geiger says Yeah! it's like my dream ever since I started getting into music was to have an album come out. It's almost sad because now I have to find a new dream. chelclynn asks Are you going to be making a music video for "For You I Will"? Teddy Geiger says Um...yes. Teddy Geiger says I can't go too deep with that question but hopefully soon. Mere008 asks what's the first song you wrote? Teddy Geiger says I wrote Little Tommy Blackbird when I was really little on the piano. I can't even remember how it goes now. rickiraccoon89 asks Do you play any other instruments besides piano and guitar? Teddy Geiger says Yes. I play the drums and bass and little bit of trombone from my middle school band experience. The piano is my favorite. tedhead101 asks How would your friends describe you? Teddy Geiger says Probably as weird. Teddy Geiger says or random. Weird and random. Friendly maybe. Mere008 asks what's an average day like for you? Teddy Geiger says If it's a show day I wake up and drive to wherever we're going and do a sound check, play and then go to bed! Teddy Geiger says there's fun mixed in there somewhere. Mich531 asks What is the question you get asked most? Teddy Geiger says hmm... Teddy Geiger says Where do you get you lyrics from since you're only 17. Teddy Geiger says I usually say because i'm only 17 then it's my life but exaggerated. Like..if this happened to me then what if I add this and this. Because then you're still connected to the song but you can make it a liitle more interesting. Mich531 asks would you ever date a fan? Teddy Geiger says I don't know...depends on the fan. Mich531 asks Do you have any pre-concert rituals? Teddy Geiger says Yes! We always pound fist right before we go out. Everyone in the band. It's just kind of gets us all pumped up and excited. jUsTtHeGiRlTC5 asks What do you like to do when your not performing? Teddy Geiger says Music! no seriously. All of my friends are into music and when I go home my friends and I sit around and jam. One of my favorite things to do is demo my songs. mackenziexoxo asks Who's your favorite actress and actor? Teddy Geiger says Actor: Jason Schwartzman and Actress: I don't know...Rachel McAdams. airdryxx asks how is it touring? does it take a lot out of you? Teddy Geiger says The first week was really weird for me. THen after that if becomes a natural thing. Teddy Geiger says We just finished the tour with Hilary Duff. That was my first tour. It was really, really cool. Teddy Geiger says What's awesome about her fans is that they're so excited because they're so young that for most of them it's their first concert. HolyCowItsKayla asks is it hard to adapt to people all of a sudden knowing who you are? Teddy Geiger says It's really weird. It's only really when I go home to Rochester. Teddy Geiger says It's a weird feeling. They just come up to you and say "Hey are you that kid". tedhead101 asks Who would you like to do a duet with? Teddy Geiger says Either Dashboard or BenFolds Teddy Geiger says My first album that I ever bought was "Whatever and ever, Amen" by Ben Folds Teddy Geiger says That's always been a huge influence of mine. Teddy Geiger says I hope we can make it happen. airdryxx asks people compare you a lot to john mayer- how do you feel about that? Teddy Geiger says II just recently went and saw a John Mayer trio and it was RIDICULOUS! It was awesome and I can only hope to have a career like his. chelclynn asks If you could be the lead in a movie, who would you want to costar? Teddy Geiger says Rachel McAdams! It would be a lovestory - the notebook 2! Mich531 asks Do you get nervous before you perform? Teddy Geiger says I used to. It's slowly gone from nervous to excited and now i'm mostly excited. Teddy Geiger says The rush of being up in front of people performing stuff that I wrote for them. That's the best part. tedhead101 asks What's your favorite song off the album? Teddy Geiger says Gentlemen! Mich531 asks Who do you look up to? Teddy Geiger says Ben Folds Teddy Geiger says Also, my cousin. We started to play guitar at the same time and we learned off of each other. Mich531 asks What do you look for in a girl? Teddy Geiger says Definitley smartness and someone who's independent and of course funny. MarsTenshi asks If you had to choose another career besides performing, what would it be? Teddy Geiger says I don't know. That's terrifying. My Dad's an electircal engineer so I would probably do that. Eventually that faded and then I started thinking about music and i haven't really thought about anything else. Teddy Geiger says My favorite part about beingin the music industry is being able to play music and listen to muist. My least favorite part is being all over the place all the time. Teddy Geiger says That's also the good thing too. I've gotten to see alot of country now. Teddy Geiger says My favorite place is Miami. We went to the beach everyday. airdryxx asks who was the first person that you saw live? Teddy Geiger says Barenaked ladies! I was pretty young about 10 or 11. It was a really good concert. They have a really good live show. Lulu92 asks What was the best gig you have had? Teddy Geiger says My last one I just played. It was my first New York gig at the Mercury lounge. That place is really cool. It's one of my favorite places to play so far. Teddy Geiger says It would be really cool to play madison square Garden. Lulu92 asks boxers or briefs? Lulu92 asks What was the craziest thing that has happened to you since becoming famous? Teddy Geiger says Being on the Hilary Duff tour. Going across the country and playing arenas! Teddy Geiger says I got to hang out with her once or twice. airdryxx asks there's a lot of awesome fansites out for you now- what's it like knowing that you have fansites? Teddy Geiger says It's cool and weird. Teddy Geiger says It's so surreal because I'm such a fan of so many people and it's werid to think that people are fans of me.
