Who We Are: 

We are a cat fishing team from Northeast Ohio, consisting of three members; Chad Harmon, Bill Abel, Jermey Golffinet.  We travel from tournament to tournament trying to prove ourselves number one in the world of cat fishing.  Not only do we fish tournaments, we offer a guide service, write articles for local organizations and magazines, give seminars educating anybody that we can along the way just trying to lend a helping hand about cat fishing. As you can see by our track record each year we are improving fishing tournaments and learning more and more.

• 3rd place out of 92 Cripple Creek Tournament
• 5th place Cripple Creek Fall tournament

·        Numerous Channel Cats over 10lbs.

·        Qualified for the Ohio State Wide Cat Fishing Tournament at Tappan Lake

• 3rd place NEOCATS flathead division
• Pictures of 65.5 lb and 58 lb flathead appeared in Heartland Outdoors magazine

-2009

• Giving a Flathead fishing seminar at Gander Mountain in Canton, Ohio
• Upgraded to a new fishing boat
• Taking D'arcy Eagan and Joe Thomas of Outdoors Ohio television show flathead fishing in the spring.
• Flathead fishing article appearing in Ohio Game and Fish magazine
• A co-sponsor of a charity trash tournament to clean Tappan lake of Harrisson county Ohio

Our Goals:

Our main goal is to be number one in cat fishing!  We want to have continued success in the tournaments that we fish.  Eventually start our own television show, which would involve other types of fishing that we also have lots of success in (Muskie, Walleye, Pike, Crappie, and Bass fishing).  We really want to get our name and our sponsors’ names out there in the world of fishing.  Educate more people about fishing.

Write more articles about fishing.  Continue to upgrade our fishing knowledge.

            How You Would Be Helping Us:

            Traveling all around tournament to tournament starts to become expensive. We have entry fees for all the tournaments, equipment costs, equipment repairs, bait, tackle, food, clothing, and cameras.  These are just a few of the many costs that we pay for week after week.  So us going out to get sponsors turns into a win, win situation.  You help us out and we advertise for you.

Being a sponsor for Team Whiskers would benefit you and us.  First off, with advertisement.  We can really put your name out there from; having your name on our tournament shirts, on our boat, on our website with a link to your website, and possibly having your name appear on television.  Stuff like this draws attention!  We would like to have your name right along side of our name with that attention.  You can also use your donations as a tax write off.
