About me
I am a stero-typical overacheiever with wonderful friends and family. I married my high school sweetheart (Dave) August 5, 2006. I've been teaching since 2005 and loving every minute of it--I have the most amazing 7th and 8th graders you could ask for in Language Arts and Yearbook.
| interests | I love scrapbooking, reading, watching movies, camping, and sitting. When I'm in the mood for it, cooking and baking can be added to the list. |
| favorite music | I don't "do" music as my friends say; however, if the radio has to be on, it will be at the Christian station. |
| favorite tv shows | Grey's Antatomy is the only show I purposely watch during the week. I have been known to watch hours of Law and Order while grading papers on Sundays. |
| favorite movies | I love movies! I like most movies that I see--as long as it has a good plot I am all for it. I enjoy movies about teachers and coaches, and can't resist a good football movie. I get very into high suspense, "thinking" movies but I hate scary movies. |
| favorite games | I'm up for any games that don't involve the computer or the XBOX. We have a Wii and suprisingly enough, it has provided hours of entertainment for me :) |
| favorite books | I LOVE BOOKS!! Any and all--the best day is a day in the air conditioning with a good book! My favorite book of all time would have to be Pride and Prejudice. My favorite "teen" book that I recommend highly to my students is Iron Man by Chris Crutcher. I also enjoy anything written by Jennifer Wiener. |
