Great Toddler book!

Posted by teachcreativity on June 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM

To celebrate the publication of my new book, "The Musical Toddler," I'll be concentrating on toddlers in my blog for a while. This is one of my favorite books for toddlers:

Clip-Clop

A sweet horse gives rides to all his animal friends. They have a great time and want to go faster and faster until - Boom! They all fall down. Then they want to do it again, of course! This charming book reminds toddlers of parents giving horsey rides, and the good feelings that go along with that. Also, the illustrations are simple, big and bright - very accessible for little ones. Toddlers love "Clip Clop"!

After I used this book with a class of 3 year olds I was inspired to write a song to accompany the story. I included the song in a selection of songs I wrote "Children's Songs of the Southwest" available through Author House. I also have produced an accompanying CD.
