The Dominant Womyns Luncheon

Alive and Kinking

Our Ethos : V Says...

Our ethos is simple.
We celebrate life by being able to make choices - We are kinky, liberated and empowered women.
Our kink is about consenting and pleasurable choice.

As a kink, I believe strongly in the ability to make informed lifestyle decisions - and raising cancer awareness is as much about making information available, as it is about showing care.
No matter how we choose to live our lives, we are blighted by cancer as a people.
The suffering caused by cancer is without choice. How can we not want to do something about that?

Cancer is more common than is often thought of; just in organising this event alone - the number of persons who have come forward to help because their lives have somehow been touched by this disease, has been staggering.

Simply put :

Being sick is very un-fun.
Having someone we love, get sick - is a pain beyond what we can bear.
Loosing people to this sickness is unacceptable.

If we are able to find a cure - it means we get more play time!

Our Ethos : J Says ...

Are you a strong woman? We are.

Do you know any? We know lots.

We're also into kink and like doing things to make the world a better, happier place. We like helping and giving something back.

We would like you to join us.

The organisers of this Dominant Womyn's Luncheon have been touched by cancer. We have seen and felt first hand the pain and suffering this disease can cause.

We have decided (there are more of us this year!!) to do something about it for a second time. The event is aimed primarily at kink scene-friendly dominant womyn. Our aim is to achieve this through the celebration of strong womyn and the organisation of an event that brings together this unique breed for a fun afternoon that will allow the sharing of knowledge, stories, love and tears, the development of new friendships and the reconnection of old ones and possibly the creation of the odd sore masculine bottom along the way!

This year we have upped the ante as only those who bite off more than they can do.  We want to double the amount of money we raised in 2006. We aim to celebrate those we know who have suffered with the disease, and in doing so raise a big pot of cash to help eradicate and prevent future generations from having to know the pain of such a pointless illness.

Please come join us, we would love to see you there.

J
