Welcome boys and girls to another edition of the CWF Newswire. First and foremost all the staff here wants to give a big round of applause to the new Heavyweight Champion Donovan T. The match between him and Boogie Woogie Pretty Boy should definitely be a contender for match of the year. Now let’s get into it, there’s a lot of ground to cover in this issue.
News Bites
Sadly we must report on the loss of three athletes. Regulator, Killswitch and Cena29 have all taken their leave of CWF. Apparently the men based their decision to leave on both personal and professional factors. The blogs here have been blowing up about the recent news. Here are some of the fan reactions:
- I blame the owners for not keeping the talent happy. Shane needs to get out the ring and stop trying to steal the show and make sure the real talent is taken care of.
- Oh well, with them gone other guys can get a much deserved push. Bottom Line for Champ in 2009!
- You mean to tell me I’ll never see any of those guys in a CWF ring again??! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…..Ok, I’m over it.
- When are the Domina’s going to wrestle in jell-o?
On a lighter note, several of the newer roster additions have been working extra hard to impress management. Destiny, CC Storm and Freddy Fangz all won their respective matches recently. There’s some news that a few of the more established men and women in the back aren’t as impressed with the newcomers. A few people are worried that their hard earned spots on the roster will be taken away due to the recent talent shake up.
CWF Domina Aries is causing a huge stir around the locker room. Recently she publically called out our GM Shane101 and voiced her “displeasure” with how things are shaping up. Some people think that she went too far when she compared him to the sometimes eccentric owner of a much larger wrestling company. (The Newswire can’t afford any lawsuits so we won’t take any chances by mentioning that owner’s name.) Some say Aries is showing that she has guts by calling out The Boss but others say she’s just looking for an easy way to insert herself into the title picture. Only time will show us how this situation plays out.
This is some news from our international desk. Carlos and Yuna Lee are redefining the term training. They lock themselves in a private gym for hours at a time throughout the day. The only activity seen is several of China’s greatest fighters and wrestlers coming in and out of the iron clad facility. We’ve been diligently reading and picking apart the blog Carlos writes in hopes of getting more insight on the secretive training. One thing is clear, both Carlos and Yuna Lee want to be champions in CWF and it looks like they are well on their way. Locally we had one of our reporters catch up with Maya Rose to ask her how she feels about her ex clients’ new attitude and training partner.
“Carlos can do whatever the hell he wants to do. He can train for 24 hours a day on the top of an active volcano for all I care. I’m concerned with two things at the moment, The Family and becoming Domina Champion again. I’m getting very restless watching my title pass hand between those who are unfit to clean Koloffs vomit much less hold that title. Now I suggest you get out of my face before I tell my brother you’re upsetting me.”
We planned on bringing you a special sit down interview with the LWO but when our reporter got to the location that the interview was to take place the unfortunate happened. He was mugged before Matt and Latino Game arrived. The muggers stripped our reporter of everything except his underwear.
One of the most shocking things to happen in CWF is the recent incarceration of the Tag Team Champions. We don’t even know where to start with this story. Tommy Fubar is a known hot head who will start a fight over nothing. Many were saying Fubar would end up back in jail sooner or later but the fall of Billion Dollar Man is much more epic. Terms like fraud, counterfeiting and insider trading are being thrown around when it comes to his side of the story. The prison they are in won’t let The Newswire do any interviews so we came up with a Plan B. Through the internet we immediately made a friend with one of the inmates at the prison and asked him to watch the Tag Champs and keep us updated on their activities. In return for his information we promised our insider front row tickets for The Wrestling Classic and a possible date with Hannah Hardy.
Rumor mill
With the Holiday season right around the corner several CWF superstars will be making public appearances for various charities.
Shattered Windows and Midnight Angel are going to be in Houston, TX December 1st participating in a kissing booth.
Gary V and Born to Be Free will each auction off a one hour private training session to the highest bidders. The auction starts on CWF.com November 27th and ends December 10th.
In Miami, FL you can get an autograph from Eyes Cold in exchange for a non perishable food item.

Panda Man has gone into hibernation.
Evan and NAD are coming out with their own Energy Drink and describe it as such on their myspace page: " It's like Red Bull and Mountain Dew got busy without protection and nine months later this drink was born!"
Hannah Hardy was approached by an art gallery in France to display her drawings and paintings.
EA Sports are in talks with the head office on producing the first ever CWF video game.
President elect Barack Obama personally called and congratulated Donovan T on winning the Heavyweight Championship.
