(Asst CEO Yoichi Hiruma is sitting in his office) YM: So, that’s the situation. I’m going on vacation for a little while and I need someone to run Showcase while I’m gone. In my absence you’ll have all of my powers in CWF and I’ll trust you to keep the quality up to a respectable level. Can you do that...Alright then, at the end of the night, you can introduce yourself, Damn Replacement. (Camera pans back to the arena, Jordan-Hare Stadium, as the fans cheer as Showcase begins!) LM: Welcome to CWF Showcase, along side Larry Zbysko, I’m Lee Marshall. We’ve got a full slate of action tonight including a huge main event. LZ: Carlos Ross and Cena29 are gonna get it on inside a Steel Cage for the CWF North American championship, No Backup, no weapons, no excuses. These people think they’ve seen battles when LSU and LM: Let’s not waste any time as we head to the ring for our first match tonight. Ring Announcer: The Following Domina’s Contest is scheduled for one fall. (Crowd Boos as Maya’s theme plays through the arena) Introducing first, From (Crowd roars its approval as Thunderstruck is played, Borntobefree comes out to the ring with an American Flag) Introducing her opponent, from LM: This match should be a good one and it isn't the first meeting between the two. BTBF is talking with the ref and Maya rushes at BTBF going for a quick sneak attack. LZ: That's my kind of wrestler take every advantage you can get. BTBF knows better yet still turned her back on Maya. As Maya continues to attack BTBF after taking her down with a stiff elbow shot to the jaw. LM: Maya picks BTBF up and throws her into the corner and again elbows her in the jaw and begins to kick Maya in the midsection. LZ: Maya grabs BTBF by the hair and takes her down with a snap mare. Maya follows the snap mare up running off the ropes going for a drop kick but BTBF sees it and rolls to the outside to regroup. LM: Maya goes after her but BTBF kicks Maya in the midsection right when she gets out of the ring. LZ: BTBF grabs Maya by the arm and goes to throw her into the corner but Maya counters and throws BTBF into the ring post. LM: BTBF hit the post hard and Maya is wasting time now arguing with some of the fans. Maya picks BTBF up and sets her up next to the ring post and backs up. LZ: Maya looks like she wants to injure BTBF now as she charges towards BTBF and goes for an elbow smash to BTBF face. LM: But no BTBF ducked out just in time. Maya hit her elbow right on the corner post. She could have busted her elbow after that. LZ: BTBF better get Maya back into the ring soon as the ref is closing in on 7 on his 10 count. BTBF rolls in and out of the ring breaking up the count. LM: BTBF goes back out and pulls Maya back up, who is still holding her elbow and looks to be in a lot of pain now. BTBF rolls Maya back into the ring. LZ: BTBF is like a shark smelling blood and goes right to work on the elbow of Maya applying an elbow lock to the injured arm of Maya. Maya is yelling in pain but refuses to quit. LM: BTBF finally releases the hold knowing Maya isn't ready to quit yet. BTBF holds Maya's arm out and drops a knee to the elbow of Maya. LZ: BTBF pulls Maya back up to her feet dragging her over to the ropes and wraps the arm of Maya around the ropes. BTBF is trying to destroy the elbow of Maya and the ref is yelling at BTBF to break the hold. LM: Maya still on the ropes and BTBF finally backs away. BTBF goes back to Maya after stepping back for a couple of seconds only. LZ: Maya's legs still work though as she kicks BTBF in the knee. Maya still favoring her right arm as she looks to be in a lot of pain. Maya goes over and kicks BTBF while she is down. LM: You can tell Maya is hurting as she is basically wrestling with one arm now trying to pick up BTBF with just her left arm. LZ: Maya better try to end this soon as her right arm is basically useless now. Maya using just her left arm whips BTBF into the ropes and on the rebound takes her down with a Drop Toe Hold and goes for the pin. 1.....2...No BTBF kicks out in time I think if she could use that right arm she would have got the win after that. LM: Maya pulls BTBF back up but BTBF counters punching Maya in the face. Maya looks stunned and BTBF is back to her feet and kicks Maya in the midsection and goes for a DDT. LZ: But they were to close to the ropes and Maya grabs the ropes with her left arm and BTBF hits the mat. LM: Maya grabs the legs of BTBF and goes for the pin. The ref checks the shoulders and goes for the pin without noticing that Maya has her feet on the ropes. 1....2....3. LZ: Maya stole the win but was smart knowing she had to end this quick and get out of the ring before doing even further damage to her shoulder. Nicely played! LM: The two women share some words as Maya makes a pretty hasty retreat back to the locker room, the HBIC taking some momentum into her clash with Hannah Hardy, provided her arm is in good shape. Speaking of Hannah Hardy, we now have a new segment on CWF Showcase we like to call Three Burning Questions, where each week we’ll interview on of your favorite CWF Superstars and get a glimpse at what makes them the successful wrestlers they are now. Here is out first segment with the Double Champion, Hannah Hardy: Question One: What inspired you to get into the ring and pursue professional wrestling? Well, Jeff Hardy inspired me to get into the ring; he's been my hero since I can remember. He's that guy who lives on the edge, somebody that isn’t perfect or easily defined; I love the uniqueness of the man. Some argue that that any superstar can jump off a ladder to get over, but the thing is, not every super star has the balls to do it. I admire everything he does outside wrestling too; He has his own Band, cares for Animals and even does artwork. Everything I enjoy, he enjoys. He just inspired me to be myself, follow my own way of life and follow my dreams. My dream was to wrestle, he taught me to follow my dream. He was determined to Wrestle and followed through until he got into that ring; he's an example of someone who does the impossible. Every since is I was little I wanted to Wrestle, just like him, now I’m a Jr. Heavyweight Champion and Domina's Champion, I feel Jeff's inspiration has helped me get to were I am now. LM: Some interesting insight from the Jr. Heavyweight and Domina title-holder. (Camera pans to the back where Yoichi Hiruma sits back in his chair, feet propped up on his desk, the Jr. Heavyweight wheel from last week behind him) LM: When we come back, we’ll have our next matchup in the Jr. Heavyweight Fatal Fourway qualifying, stay tuned! CWF Fans, as of October 16, CWF Showcase is moving to Thursday Night, permanently! For a REAL “Impact”, tune in to all your favorite CWF Junior Heavyweights, Dominas and Tag Teams slug it out as they fight their way into title contention. Join us next week from (Show comes back on air as Hiruma sits at his desk) YH: Well, damn fans, what else can I say? I’m in need of a bit of down-time. Don’t worry though, because I’m leaving you in surprisingly capable hands for a few weeks. Your Temporary Asst. CEO is a man that is...let’s face it, he’s never going to be ME, but I think at least for a couple of weeks he can keep the show together without it going down the tubes. You’ll see him later tonight. But before I go, I think it’s proper that I make two last announcements. The first (points to the wheel) should be obvious to people who watched last week. Let’s give the wheel a spin and see what happens….. (Wheel spins around…) And the first lucky contestant tonight is……Heart Break Boy! I guess CM Punk really WAS right when he said luck was for losers! (Crowd boos him a little but he laughs it off)…Geesh, I knew you damn people were sensitive….anyway, the next contestant is (spins wheel a second time)…..nWoMatt! Congratulations, boys, you have a chance to fight over who gets to lose to a woman again….err….I mean wrestle for the Jr. Heavyweight Championship at Blood Moon Rising. Speaking of championships and Blood Moon Rising, pending Shane’s approval I’ve arranged for a Tag Team Title defense at this event, with Evan and NAD defending against Tommy Fubar and the wrestler who doesn’t want you to call him the Billion Dollar Man. Well, that’s it from me. Damn Replacement is in charge until I get back, so you damn Neanderthals in the back treat him with respect. (Hiruma gets up and walks out of the room) LM: Larry, do you have any idea who this new Asst CEO is? LZ: Nope. Whoever he is he’s gonna have his hands full with this roster of athletes that have many, MANY issues with one another. LM: Before we go to our second match-up for tonight, let’s go ahead and show our fans the second segment of Three Burning Questions, the Hannah Hardy Edition. Question 2: How do you think the fans perceive you after winning the Jr. Heavyweight championship? Do you think they support a woman competing in a predominantly male division? I got a pretty mixed reaction from winning the Jr. Heavyweight Championship, some seemed to be happy and some seemed to be really annoyed. I think people do support a Women competing in a dominating male division, however, some feel that it's not a place for people like me. I’m sure any loyal fan, would stick by me or who ever they support and to the fans who who don’t support me...im cool with that. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, I hope my hard work on everything will change it but if it doesn't, I'm fine with that. I think the fans see me as someone who is determined to make an impact, someone who has a clear goal and wants to be the best she can be. Like I said, I’m sure plenty of fans are unhappy with me cashing in my Ring Announcer: The Following Jr. Heavyweight Contest is scheduled for one fall. The Winner will advance to the Blood Moon Rising to face Hannah Hardy, El Burrito, and an opponent to be determined for the CWF Jr. Heavyweight Championship! (A wolf’s howl, followed by the nWo Wolfpac theme plays, Matt comes out to a warm reception) Introducing first, from (HBB’s theme comes on, getting a very strong reaction from much of the female portion of the audience) And his opponent, from LM: These two young men have had the Jr. Heavyweight Championship in their sights since its inception, but haven’t been able to get the job done when it matters most. LZ: Yeah, be it their fault or Kaos just being better than them that night or outside interference, they just haven’t been able to get the job done. Now that the title is on Hannah Hardy, the pressure is REALLY on these guys to get in the title hunt and take it from her. LM: The bell sounds and these two young men tie up. Although both can and sometimes do get it going in the air, both are more than capable of getting it done on the ground….HBB gaining an early advantage as he pushes Matt into the corner. The official asks for a clean break and HBB gives it. The two meet back up in the center of the ring….HBB going for a tie-up but Matt gives him a hard kick to the gut. He’s going for that signature Jackknife power bomb already…..HBB COUNTERS IT INTO A PIN….1…..2…..Kickout! LZ: Nice counter-wrestling from HBB, nearly scoring a quick pinfall. LM: Matt realizes he was almost had there as you see he is VERY reluctant to get it going again….they do tie up again though, Matt with the advantage this time as he whips HBB into the ropes and catches him with a nice looking shoulder block, HBB back up and running though and Matt tries and fails to hit him with a lariat…HBB lands his Lariat though and Matt hits the canvas with a thud! Matt rolling out of the ring, trying to regroup from a rather poor start….but HBB follows him with a suicide dive through the ropes, sending both men to the arena floor! LZ: This is what the Juniors are all about…high risk, high reward. HBB cashed in big-time on that move and has a chance to win this match and move on. LM: He gets up and hauls Matt back into the ring….HBB springboards himself using the top rope to go for an elbow drop and it connects! Very unique offense there! He goes for a cover…1……2…kickout from Matt! HBB quickly back up to his feet again, getting Matt up and taking him down with a vertical suplex. HBB going to the top rope….Looking for a moonsault….Matt moves out of the way though just in time and HBB connects with nothing but canvas. LZ: The ref is about halfway through his mandatory 10 count…what happens if we have a draw? LM: I guess it would wind up being just a triple threat match? Both men are staggering back to their feet….HBB looks for a Superkick to end it, but Matt dodges and…..German Suplex…….and another……..and ONE MORE. This match has been completely turned on its ear! LZ: And it all started with HBB’s moonsault try. Live by the sword; die by the sword I say. LM: HBB in serious trouble now as he staggers to his feet…Matt has him up on his shoulders now….If he hits the New Jersey Driver, this match is as good as over….he sets up HBB for the release……BUT HBB DOES A CARTWHEEL OUT OF IT…OUTSTANDING COUNTER. LZ: Then he follows it up with Sweet Chin Music! How on earth did he counter that move! LM: With one of the most unique counters I’ve ever seen, HBB goes for the pinfall…..1……….2…………3! Ladies and Gentlemen, The winner of this match…HEART BREAK BOY! HBB MOVES ON TO THE FATAL FOURWAY AT BLOOD MOON RISING! LM: A big win for HBB to vault himself back into title contention and get a shot at a title people thought he probably should have had from the beginning. LZ: Considering the rules of the match, it’s gonna be difficult to win that match, but HBB is as good as anybody in the business today. (Camera pans to backstage, Carlos Rosso is pacing outside of his locker room when a young female assistant walks up to him) Asst: Excuse me, sir, but we couldn’t find Ma- (Carlos sticks out a hand and clenches her throat) Carlos: I told you not to come back here until you found her…..now WHERE IS SHE!? (His grip tightens) Asst: I’m sorry, but we looked throughout the entire building after her match! She won’t answer calls, pages, anything! (Carlos thinks about it for a second, and then lets her go) Carlos: Get out of my sight….PERMANENTLY. YOU ARE FIRED. (Asst. scurries away; Hiruma passes by with a duffel bag in hand) YH: You have a way with women, I see. Carlos: ………. YH: How does it feel to have everything around you crumbling? The Carlos: If I were YOU, I would stay out of my affairs. You have enough to worry about with the Revolution breathing down your neck and Shane one ego-trip away from firing you. YH: ………. Carlos: Now, if you will excuse me, I have a title match to prepare for. Enjoy your vacation. (camera pans back to Lee and Larry) LM: Wow….that was intense. LZ: I don’t think those two like each other very much…. LM: Probably the understatement of the century. Let’s go back to the ring for our next contest. Time for tag team action here, and the combination is an interesting one at that. *Limp Bizkit’s Break Stuff plays through the arena, igniting cheers* Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, making their way to the ring first, for team number one, The Blueprint…Regulator! LM: The crowd loves him this week, and we can show you some of the negatives from Regulator’s last appearance in an exclusive instant replay. **Classic-tron shows highlights of Regulator vs. Killswitch** LZ: As you can see, ETR and Cameron Crowe both take advantage of Regulator, and Shane takes the short opportunity to embarrass him after the assault by the Revolution members. **video cuts off** LM: Well, Regulator will still have his chance to get GM Shane at Blood Moon Rising in a one-on-one match! Shane has accepted the challenge, and all we have to see is him rise to the occasion (Regulator stands at the turnbuckle). LZ: But don’t count Shane out one bit. He is a smart man, and he does have the advantage in terms of power. And in Shane’s case, his power can be abused. (OLEEEEE OLE OLE OLEEEEEEEEEE! OLEEEEEEEEEEEE OLEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!) *El Burrito’s theme continues* Announcer: And his tag team partner, from LM: El Burrito comes in and continues his amazing record in CWF, gaining the respect of many fans. Arguably, he has the biggest fan base in CWF right now! LZ: Besides possibly Hannah, I agree with you. El Burrito seems to be very popular amongst the fans, as he hi-fives them. Even some fans in the arena are wearing a mask like his! LM: El Burrito makes his way to the ring, and…what the?! Cameron Crowe and ETR run in on him from behind and start attacking EB at the entranceway. Burrito is down, but he tries to rise by assistance of the guard rail, but ETR and CC continue the assault! *music fades* LZ: What heartlessness is displayed by both Crowe and ETR, as they both attack that El Burrito guy! LM: But now, Regulator races towards the Revolutionaries and pushes them both away! While Burrito gets to his feet, Reg attacks Crowe with a punch, then ETR, then Crowe again, AND AGAIN. ETR grabs Reg and throws him right into the guard rail, and Crowe takes the chance to grab EB and force him to ringside. What a crazy way to start a match, folks! LZ: Wait a second…did the match even start? LM: I…I guess you’re right! LZ: The match hasn’t even started yet! *ding* *ding* *ding* LM: And there’s the bell, with the match beginning with EB and CC in the ring, CC must still be upset about the loss he suffered in a previous tag team match on Carnage with EB on the other team. Despite that, CC has EB cornered and pummels him with Stomps to the gut. The referee counts CC in warning 1...2…3…4…and Crowe is forced away from EB. He looks at the ref angrily as the crowd boos, but CC turns and grabs EB by the throat, choking him while in the corner! Warning from the ref and the count 1…2…3…and CC breaks the hold faster than previously. *Reg and ETR struggle to their corners* LZ: Crowe is being relentless, not as arrogant as the last time these two met, and the last time they did, Burrito let his face meet a vicious Ole Kick. LM: Very true. But Burrito grabs CC and turns him to the corner, chopping him once to the chest. Crowd: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! LM: Now, Burrito goes for the Irish Whip, CC reverses, but Burrito leaps to the top turnbuckle and back flips off as CC runs to it. He hits a Dropkick on Crowe! ETR runs in, but Burrito dodges, and ETR flies right into CC! Now, Reg runs right into both of them with a Body Splash, and both men roll to the outside for safety. LZ: Smart move, but they need to intelligently regroup, or else both will lose badly in this contest. The crowd loves how EB and Reg are cooperating on the common goal here, even if they have different agendas. LM: EB and Reg go into the ropes and LOOK OUT! BOTH DIVE INBETWEEN THE ROPES AT CROWE AND ETR! The crowd loves the move! LZ: I never knew Reg could do that. LM: Me, neither. That’s new to me… LZ: Now look at the aftermath, though, all four wrestlers are down on the outside, and the referee checks on them all. He gives warning, but rolls into the ring and begins to count them out. 1……………….2…………………….3……………..4……………… LM: Reg and Crowe are the first to their feet, and Reg throws Crowe into the ring. EB finally gets up and goes inside. He covers CC. 1…………2………and CC kicks out. EB lifts CC to his feet and gets him in an Arm Wrench then goes for the tag to Reg, only for Crowe resist and poke him in the eyes! Crowe kicks, then gets an Arm Wrench of his own and gets ETR in the match. LZ: ETR steps in and kicks EB in the ribs, then punches him in the face, getting warned by the ref for it. He gets EB off one knee, and grabs him for a Belly to Back Suplex. LM: ETR continues on and transitions to the legs of EB, grabbing him for a variation of a Death Lock. Looks like he’s going for the Muta Lock here, and he does, grabbing at the upper part of the neck and extending as much as he can. Burrito shouts, but the referee checks to see Burrito hasn’t given up. LZ: That Muta Lock is in pretty badly on EB; I wouldn’t be surprised if he gave up. And Reg makes the save with an Elbow to ETR’s ribs. LM: But because he’s not legal, he’s told to go back to the other side, and look at CC sneak in an attack on EB while the referee argues with Reg! The referee doesn’t hear the crowd booing the move? LZ: He probably thinks they’re booing him for keeping Reg out of control here, and Crowe takes advantage, going back to his corner. ETR sees the ref turn and reaches for the tag to Crowe. The two are in the ring and both grab EB, hitting him with a Double DDT. ETR exits and Crowe goes for the pin. 1…………2………..and no! Burrito turns over and avoids the loss. LM: CC gets EB in his team’s corner and tags in ETR. CC holds him and ETR gets another hit in the midsection. ETR lifts EB up for a Front Slam near the turnbuckle, and ETR signals to the crowd. He climbs up the turnbuckle as rapidly as he can. LZ: What’s he going for here? LM: High risk maneuver coming up it seems…ETR goes for the Shooting Star, but Burrito gets the knees up! The crowd goes wild for the reversal and ETR goes down to the mat! LZ: Looks painful, Lee, but that’s the risk you take going for moves like that. LM: And EB gets up with assistance of the ropes and goes for his corner, and ETR does the same. ETR throbs in pain, but he gets the tag! CC rushes in after EB, but EB gets the tag, and Regulator angrily runs into the ring. He hits a Clothesline on CC! Clothesline to ETR! Reg picks CC up for a Scoop Slam! ETR gets kicked in the gut and Reg Irish Whips to the ropes, and does a Shoulder Back Toss to him! LZ: Reg is on a roll here with his attack! EB bounces off the ropes and Reg lifts him for a Body Splash on ETR! LM: The crowd gets into the match here, but CC does a Flipping Dropkick to Reg out of nowhere! What athleticism that move took! LZ: But El Burrito gets up and hits a Hurricanrana on CC! This match is turning into chaos once again! LM: It’s obviously going to be hard to decide who has the advantage…but now ETR goes for a Spear on EB, and the two fly out of the ring between the ropes! The two legal men are still in the ring, but both are down at the moment. Eventually, though, CC gets to his feet and picks Reg up, but Reg hits a Throat Thrust! Reg grabs CC and gets him into a thunderous Powerbomb! Reg goes for the cover, but gets up before the ref starts the count. LZ: What is he doing? He has a chance to win, and…! LM: …it’s GM Shane! GM Shane’s in the ring, and hits Reg with a chair to the skull! The referee sees the blatant move and calls for the bell. *ding* *ding* *ding* Announcer: The referee has made his decision. The winners due to… LM: Shane’s attacking Reg with the chair once again, lighting up his back with a hit! El Burrito tries to come in and assist, but CC and ETR keep him are assaulting him outside the ring. This dispute between Reg and Shane can’t get any weirder than it is already. LZ: Shane is doing anything in his power to make Reg’s life a living Hell. LM: That may be, but Regulator may have his say at Blood Moon Rising. Fans, I’m disgusted, we’ll take a commercial break. CWF Fans….have you seen our College Football/NFL Pick Em’ Game on our website? If not, a very special opportunity to jump into the fray! For this week only, all of the players who have missed more than two weeks have a chance to earn extra points and climb into the rankings! See if you can outpick your favorite CWF Star! (show comes back to air) LM: We’re back here on Showcase as we’re ready to give to you the final segment of Hanna Hardy’s “Three Burning Questions” segment before our next matchup. Question 3: Of all the Dominas on the current roster, who do you have to most respect for? Regardless of everything, i respect Maya Rose the most. She has been at CWF for a long time, i see her as a role model really. Her actions inspire me to hold my own and stand my ground. I was estatic when i won the Dominas title from her, i may not have pinned her but im hoping at Blood Moon Rising, i have a chance to beat one of the best Dominas in the Business. Maya is amazing in the ring and holds herself so well in AND out the ring. She shows she doesn't like to be pushed around and i admire her hardwork. I've always respected Maya even when i first signed with CWF. Even though she probably hates me for taking her title, i've just always had that sense of respect for her. LM: Interesting piece that was, Hannah Hardy is truly a class act. Let’s go on to our next matchup for this evening….. Ladies and Gentleman, the following contest is schedule for one fall! (Crowd cheers as Red X makes his way to the ring, he has a focused and determined look on his face) Introducing first, from Anytown, (Crowd boos a bit as CK comes down to the ring, waving the Scottish flag) Introducing his opponent, from LM: We don’t know a whole lot about this CK, but from what I’ve heard from my friends in the wrestling business in LZ: I’ve watched some of these guys tapes, they remind me a lot of William Regal, not a lot of finesse, not a lot of “Showmanship”, but a lot of asskicking. LM: That’s a very um….eloquent way of putting it, Larry. CK with a hard European uppercut that sends Red X staggering into to corner. CK follows it up from there with an Irish whip into another corner…followed by CK with a NASTY lariat! Red probably thinks he’s in LZ: This guy is very impressive in only his second match here in CWF. Manhandling someone like Red X isn’t exactly child’s play. LM: CK with a headlock on Red as Red sits up. And CK…just jamming his fist right into the top of Red’s skull! The official trying to monitor the situation a little closer, CK tells him to back off in language I can’t repeat on television. CK gets Red up to his feet and rakes him in the eyes, then takes him down with a spinebuster. He goes for another pin…..1….Red with a kickout. LZ: CK’s really pressing right now, he should just kinda slow it down a little…. LM: And it looks like he’s going to do the exact opposite, he picks up Red, kicks him in the midsection, he’s looking for the Thistle Spike, what most of you would call the Stone Cold Stunner, but Red pushes him away at the last second and into the ropes, Red grabs him from behind and connects with a Russian Leg Sweep….he rolls up quickly and locks in the X-Tractor, a very potent submission move that men simply cannot escape! LZ: CK’s tapping out! Once Red got it locked in there wasn’t much escaping it! The Winner of this match….RED X! LM: A solid one-on-one for Celtic Krusher, but it ends in a rather abrupt defeat at the hands of Red X…who is asking for a microphone? What’s this all about!? (Red grabs the mic and starts to speak) Red: I was sitting in the back waiting for my match, and I see all this crap on TV about Hannah Hardy. Hannah this, Hannah that. I don’t give a damn if she won 10 Titles like the Ultimo Dragon, CWF is showing a bias towards her! (crowd appears split, some cheer and others boo vociferously) I mean, look at her damn four-way match for the Jr. Heavyweight title at Blood Moon Rising. None of the guys in the match can even TOUCH her? What the hell kind of stipulation is that? This is CWF, not the Boy Scouts, not Oh, I forgot something…..ROLL TIDE!! (crowd boos even louder as Red drops the mic again and leaves the ring this time) LM: Someone’s jealous…. LZ: Oh, yeah. I’m usually the first one to call CWF management on BS…but that was just out of line by Red X. Even someone like me can’t condone that…. LM: In any event, we’ve still got a HUGE main event coming up with Cena29 challenging Carlos Rosso for the North American Championship inside a Steel Cage….let’s go backstage with Chip Chambers, who is standing by right now with the challenger. (crowd pops as Cena29 is seen standing next to Chip in the locker room) CC: Cena, tonight you have a shot at Carlos Rosso for the- (Cena raises his hand to cut him off, gestures for him to give him the mic) Cena: You can run along and play now. The Big Boys will handle it from here. Carlos…tonight, it’s all gonna end. It’s DO OR DIE! WIN OR CRY! After all the BS that you and the
(Red drops the mic as the crowd boos him loudly……then picks it back up)
Ladies and Gentleman, the following Steel Cage contest is scheduled for one fall! The only ways to win are by pinfall and submission.
(Crowd explodes with applause as Cena29 makes his way to the ring)
Introducing the challenger, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 240 pounds….CENA29!
(Crowd starts to boo as Carlos comes down the ramp, holding the North American Championship)
And his opponent, From Rome, Italy by way of New Orleans, Louisiana, weighing in at 245 pounds, he is the Reigning and Defending CWF North American Champion…..CARLOS ROSSO!
LM: This is what it’s all about, boys and girls, the cage door is locked shut and here we go! This one should be pretty damn good.
LZ: Cena's going to want to take the offense to Rosso as often as he can, Carlos needs to avoid mental lapses and wait for Cena to make a mistake.
LM: The two men stand face to face now.....and Carlos Rosso slaps Cena in the face! Cena responds with a right hand and the fight is really underway now! Cena not wasting anytime...slamming Carlos into the cage! Cena grabs Carlos's legs, looking as if he's trying to lock in a Sharpshooter, but Carlos kicks him square in the face!
LZ: It's amazing what you can do when survival is invovled.
LM: Carlos springing to his feet and taking down Cena with a facecrusher! Carlos looks like he has a pretty small cut on his forehead from hitting the cage in the early going. Carlos taking Cena's arm and locking in an armbar!
LZ: This is a very dangerous hold, can easily dislocate a shoulder or break an arm if you apply enough pressure, Cena's gotta find a way out as quickly as possible.
LM: The official asking if Cena wishes to give up, obviously Cena says no. He's got too much fight, too much resolve, too much desire to claim the CWF North American Championship! Rosso apparently giving up on the armbar and getting to his feet....and a kick so loud you could probably hear it in Zimbabwe! What a kick to the arm and shoulder of Cena! Rosso gets Cena up...and uh-oh....
LZ: Well you know what they say...PAY BACK IS A BITCH!
LM: Cena's head bouncing off of that steel cage! Carlos not done, he grabs Cena's head and starts sliding his face across the chain links that make up the cage....and then finally throws him back to the canvas! This is just brutal offense from the reigning North American Champion.
LZ: I don't think he's done yet either.....Carlos is tearing off that top turnbuckle.....but Cena's back on his feet too!
LM: Carlos sees him and tries to take him down, but Cena takes HIM down with a spinebuster! Great move from Cena29! Cena gets back to his feet climbs that turnbuckle with the champion on his back....Diving Moonsault! That could do it right there....
1..............2............NO! Kickout from the champion! Carlos may be a lot of things, but a quitter he is not.
LZ: We're gonna see how much of a quitter Carlos is in just a moment, Cena's got him set up for the sharpshooter!
LM: The Sharpshooter is applied in the middle of the ring! Carlos has it locked in with absolutely no where to go!....The official is asking him if he want's to continue....Carlos is struggling for the bottom rope.....The match is in a steel cage but most of the normal rules still apply, including the ropebreak rule in this situation. Carlos crawling, great pressure being exerted on his knees and lower back!
LZ: I think he's about got it, Lee...he's reaching out.....
LM: He's got it...and Cena will be forced to break the hold. Cena waits until the official is at the 4 of his five count to break the hold. Cena's gotta be thinking about using the F-5 and ending this match. He gets Carlos back to his feet, goes for a back suplex...Rosso counters out of it and takes down Cena with a Enziguri. Rosso....waiting on Cena to rise to his knees...SHINING WIZARD! That could do it!.....1.........2........NO!
LZ: Carlos can't frustrated...he just has to keep pressing on!
LM: But he's not Larry, he's up in referee's face like it's his fault. But Cena goes for school-boy roll up pin....Quick count....1....2....KICKOUT!
LZ: Very Sneaky Cena!
LM: Both men back on their feet, Carlos going for a spinning roundhouse, but Cena dodges it and takes him down with a fine powerslam! Cena gets back on his feet waits on Carlos to get up...Running Leg Lariat! Carlos on his knees..trying to get to his feet...Cena comes behind him with the Throwback! Cena gets up, bloodied and bruised, but poised for victory!
LZ: Cena should get on with it and finish Rosso off instead of yelling at the top of his lungs.
LM: Cena gets Carlos up....He's picking him up and putting him on his shoulders....Looking for the F-5....But Carlos...with some elbow shots...jamming his way loose.....And he gets down to the mat and takes down Cena with a German Suplex. This could be over........1.....2.....CENA KICKS OUT! Cena refusing to quit! Both men are exhasuted, but Rosso gets back to his feet, frustrated and angry starts biting Cena's forehead! If he wasn't bleeding profusely before, he most certainly is now!
LZ: Rosso is letting that animal instict out now. I don't think we've seen him like this before....
LM: I don't think we have....Now he's taking Cena's head and slamming it across that exposed turnbuckle! Over and over again...it's almost as if Carlos has gone into some sort of trance! After about 10 headshots to that exposed turnbuckle....Carlos looks for the killshot...he's waiting for Cena to get up...if he can get up.....Carlos looking for the Shining Wizard, but Cena moves out of the way. Rosso turns around...Cena's got him up.........F-5!!! HOW IN THE WORLD DID CENA SUM UP THE AWARENESS AND THE STRENGTH TO PULL THIS OFF! If he can cover Carlos, He'll be the new North American Champion of the Classic Wrestling Federation!
LZ: Cena's moving slowly but he's finally got him turned over......
1....................2.......................NO! Carlos got a shoulder up!
LM: How much closer can you get? Cena was about 0.0001 seconds away from winning against Rosso. The question I have left is this: If Cena can't put away the champion with THAT, what is he going to use!?
LZ: I think Cena believes he'll find his answer in the air....he's crawling as much as he can to get to his feet and make his way up those ropes.
LM: I think Cena has done some Corkscrew Sentons from the top rope before, I think he's aiming for that here....He's taking a LOT of time to get up to that top turn buckle and Carlos is stirring.....Cena's got himself set up to the top....but look at this..Carlos jumpes up and slaps the rope and...OUCH....Cena got hung out to dry!
LZ: Carlos has a chance to finish this off, he's got Cena by the head...Cena's feet are barely hanging off the top turnbuckle....DDT! A VERY NASTY, EMPHATIC DDT! Carlos.....he's staggering to his feet...he's got Cena by his legs...It looks like he's going to forego the powerbomb portion of the Eraser Rain Special and simply slam Cena's face into the mat! Carlos with the roll into a pin.....1.......2.........3!
Ladies and Gentleman, the winner of this match and STILL CWF North American Champion...CARLOS ROSSO!
LM: You've got to hand it to Cena AND Carlos.....both men came out here and gave their all. Carlos happened to be just a little better.
(Carlos music stops playing........and DANNY HIBIKI'S MUSIC PLAYS)
LM: Wait....you don't think.....?
LZ: BY GOD I HOPE NOT! I THOUGHT WE WERE THROUGH WITH THIS IDIOT!
(Danny Hibiki grabbs a microphone)
DH: As you all know, The Great and Only Grandmaster of Saikyo-Ryuu Karate has been absent from CWF for quite a while. But after getting several calls from Asst CEO Yoichi Hiruma, I've been granted Temporary Asst CEO Powers. As of now, Danny Hibiki is back in charge! And my first order of buisness...Carlos Rosso! You having that belt is an absolute disgrace. A great champion like myself originally held that belt and I will not stand by and watch you hold it any longer! At Blood Moon Rising, You'll defend against TWO challengers....Jayson Kane and Eyes Cold! Have a GREAT day!
(Showcase ends as Carlos stands in the ring in shock....A single red rose laying down in the center of the ring)
