Here is a list of frequently asked questions about thang global

Q: How do I take a screenshot? Where is it?

A: After pressing F12 to take the screenshot, the picture you took is located in My Computer/C:/Program Files/Comprozard/Screen. It will contain all screenshots taken.

Q: What does Tar do? What does Yelba do?

A: Items (weapons, skills) with a Tar attribute has a special 15% damage bonus against the Yelba attribute monsters. And vice versa. If you have both a weapon and skill of the same property, it will give a 30% damage boost.

Q: I can't log in! Every time I click as server it says "Sorry, the server is under maintenance."

A: Usually this is your firewall. Try setting your firewall to allow Thang. If that doesn't work, try turning off your firewall entirely. If you choose to do the latter, remember to turn it back on after playing. If the previous two methods don't work, try clicking "Verify Files" when starting up Thang.

Q: What's a "Lucky Coupon?" Where can I use it?

A: There are 3 classes of "Lucky Coupons." White, Yellow, and Blue. White coupons have the least chance of getting a good item. Yellow is the middle class, you can get some good or bad items, and there are Blue coupons. Blue ones have the best chance of getting a rare/good item. You can use your coupon at Nusamlatana (the "Lune Lady") by clicking "Claim a Gift" (or something like that.)

Q: What is Lune? How do I obtain it?

A: Lune is a special type of currency used in Thang. You must buy it with REAL MONEY. There is no way of exchanging Dien for Lune. If you go to ItemMall and then clicking Lune Purchase, you can see different methods of buying Lune.

Q: How come I can't buy a Healing Potion+1(99) or a Guardian's Aegis+2 with my points?

A: Those items are only bought with Lune (mentioned above). It says "Saving Point" which means that's how much you get in points if you buy that item with Lune. The "Saving Point" is not the cost of that item in points.

Q: What is "EXP Hour" "Happy Hour" or "Power Hour?" When is this held?

A: EXP hour is when you get 50% more exp than the usual EXP obtained. To find out how much EXP you get, type in a calculator the normal EXP obtained multiplied by 1.5. EXP hour is held every day at 02:00, 04:00, 10:00, 12:00, 18:00, 20:00 (GMT).

Q: I can't post in the Auction forum! Why is that?

A: The official Auction forum is only available to the GMs. Only the developers of Thang may post in that section. If you would like to start an auction of your own, you can do so in the Item Trade section or shouting/bigshouting in game.

Q: What is farming?

A: Farming is when you gather two or more monsters together and attacking them with a skill, hitting all at the same time.

Q: What is AoE?

A: AoE stands for Area of Effect. AoE is a common term used for identifying skills. Skills that have AoE attack more than two monsters at the same time, commonly used for farming (mentioned above). Skills that have AoE are Queenajin, Tamasham, Tamuta (at L7), Supirate (at L6), Shukanan, Samakan, Pongpairan, Loontaimare, Shanmau, Loontabara, Paramara, and Marasiamta.

Q: What does Overpowering do in masks?

A: Nothing, at the moment. It is said to increase your hitting chances on the monster and decrease hitting chances from the monster to you. BUT, this may be true, may be false, it is a RUMOR.

Q: I see glowing items in game. I want them too! How do I get them?

A: Most people have the glowing look in their armors and weapons, creating them from a process called "refining." Be sure to use a Hai-Ring, which is a special item used in most refinements that gives your item a second chance if the first chance fails. Below is the list of glows in each level of refinement.

+0, +1, +2, +3 = no glow, normal look
+4, +5 = yellow glow
+6, +7 = blue glow
+8, +9, Tar/Yelba (for weapons) = red glow

Rian and Kanhoa items can be refined at Danduki (Rian Village 64,87). On-du Sham items are refined at Shataram (Yerden 197,215). On-du Sham items have a glowing exception. Their items can only be refined 5 times. At +0, +1, +2, it has no glow, just the normal look. +3 glows yellow, +4 blue, and +5 red. However, this does not apply to the armor.

Q: I see messages about Razin in game at the top. What does it mean?

A: Razin is one of the "boss monsters" in the game. It spawns two times a day in the Forest of Darkness, once at 04:00 (GMT), another at 13:00 (GMT), and a last time at 19:00 (GMT). Locations are varied.

Q: What is Anger/Anger Runner?

A: Anger [Kalakhina] is the second "boss monster" in Thang. Located in the "hell" portion of the Underground Tomb, people usually gather 3+ level 110+ people with 700-800+ attack (we call them "anger runner") to finish off the monster in a party.

Because Anger Kalakhina is a Yelba attribute monster, players use Tar weapons and skills to do extra damage to the monster.

Q: What is Dot1 and Dot2?

A: Dot1 is the shortened name for Door of the Treasure 1. Located in Rian Village at Tuna (the Warehouser). Click her and you can see Door of the Treasure. All Dot1 items require 4x Viol's Eye and 1x Viol's Eye+1 and two ?? boxes which represent mystery items.

Dot2 is the shortened name for Door of the Treasure 2. It is located in the Underground Tomb, in the maze you need to go through a teleport. Bring lots of pots because there will be many Kuarms to stop you. All Dot2 Items are required to use 5x Viol's Eye and 2x Viol's Eye+1.

Q: What is KI?

A: The stat KI allows you to switch between attack, defense, and soul (intelligence) with a click. Putting Ki on attack gives more attack but decreases HP. Putting Ki on defense gives more defense and increases HP. Putting Ki on soul increases MP.

Q: What do the colors next to the servers names mean?

A: The colors next to the server names tell you the lagginess and the amount of people on that server.

Blue = Little to no lag, very few people
Green = Stable, slightly laggier, more people
Yellow = Congested, quite an amount of people
Red = Laggy, lots of people

Q: How do I get Ulaan/Ravan Ulaan Shield and Tashuna/Ravan Tashuna Shields?

A: Ulaan, Ravan Ulaan, Tashuna, and Ravan Tashuna are shields that are located on Dot2 (mentioned few Q's above). They are the best shields by far in game, and they require one of the most rarest items in game, the Heart of Mankut (4x).

Q: I see people with glowing mantles. I try to refine mine but I keep seeing a message saying "I cannot refine -------- Mantle with my knowledge." Why is that?

The glowing mantles you see are the Best B (yellow), Elder B (blue), and Hero B Mantles (red) that are obtained only from events, auctions, or other players.

Q: Which is better? Sun/Mona weapons or Dot2?

A: Dot2 is better than any other weapon in game. They are the best weapons in game. A Sun/Mona weapon at +9 is equal to around a Dot2 +4. Because Sun/Mona weapons require Piece of Sun/Piece of Mona to refine at +7/8/9, you can easily get a Dot2 with those required items.

Q: How do I make dyes other than white or a skill other than Yelba?

A: There are little arrows above the result box that you can click to switch varieties. The same goes for the shields (power, sense, dexterity, etc.)

Q: I clicked delete avatar to delete my avatar. It's past the date and it's still there!

A: When an avatar is "undeleted" and it sits down, it will display a time & date in which it will be deleted. After that date is passed, it should just sit down with no time or date. Click undelete avatar after clicking the "deleted" avatar, and your avatar will disappear. You can then make a new one.

Q: What's up with the "You can update the latest driver from our website" thing?

A: Go to Download => DirectX 9.0c (at the bottom of the page) and download it. Install it and you should be ready to go then.

Q: What do the colors on the monster name mean?

A: Orange = Mir
Blue = Ohra
Red = Yelba (Tar skills and/or weapons do extra damage on these)
White = Tar (Yelba skills and/or weapons do extra damage on these)
Black = No attribute

Q: What monsters should i kill?

A:Killing monsters depends on you defense and attack rather then lvl. If you post on here or write a new topic with your attack/defence I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction.

Q: What lvl can i go to the tombs?

A: Well again it depends on attack/defense. You should have atleast 250 attack and 225 def to go here.
