| A Nightmare on Elm Street Review |
This one resolves around Nancy trying to stop Freddy
Krueger before he can kill her. Throughout the movie he kills her friends and lovers one by one(Tina,Glenn, and Rob). But in the end good finally prevails. But as the last scene of the movie before the credits shows,Did it really?I give this movie a 4/5......
SECOND OPINION,by Caitlin Bergen:
Being the huge Johnny Depp fan I am, I was in love with this movie. The gore was awesome, as always. Although, most of the time, it was pretty unbelievable. The background story on Freddy was disturbing, but it gave Freddy a good reason to go on a killing spree. There are a few minor slips in the movie like when Tina is being killed, you can see the foam rubber movie make-up stuff. All in all, a good movie. I'll say 4.5/5. |
| A Nightmare on Elm Sreet 3:Dream Warriors Review |
This movie basically starts the storyline that is continued in the Next 2 Movies. It revolves around a group of teenagers that are locked up in a mental institution having to join forces to fight Freddy. This Movie also is the return of Heather Langenkamp and John Saxon reprising their roles form the original movie. But ,near the end they both end up getting killed. Only Joey, patricia Arquette's character, and I cant remember the name of the black guy that survived. Final Score:4.5/5
SECOND OPINION:
This was a good start to the next two films although I believe this film is the better of the two. The fact that Nancy is in this movie made me happy because it seemed like she was the start of the whole Freddy ordeal, and she should have some part in all the sequels. Joey and Ken (the black guy CJ couldn't remember) survived. The gore was surprisingly awesome in this movie. The most noticible error to me in this movie was that Nancy's infamous gray streak in her hair switches from the left side (Original Nightmare on Elm Street) to the right side. I'll give this movie a 4.5/5. |
| A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child Review |
Just like Halloween 3, I think this is the WORST Freddy movie made. It's story was hrribe(Freddy enters the Dreams of Alices Unborn Child so he can get stronger) And the acting is horrible. The only reason to even watch this movie is because of Robert Englund. He once again at hes best as Freddy in this movie.Final Score:0.5/5 SECOND OPINION:
This movie was terrible, and by far the worst movie in the series. Freddy inhabits a child because we all know how powerful and strong children are. My favorite error that I've seen is that before Dan gives Alice the tickets to Europe, she can be seen holding them. They disappear, and he gives them to her later in the movie. I did enjoy the ironic deaths though so I'll give this movie a 1/5. |
| A Nightmare on Elm Street 6: Freddy's Dead Review |
Okay, let me start out by telling you that if you are looking for a more evil freddy, watch the 1st one instead. Okay this movie revolves around Freddy's daughter figuring out who her real father is because she had grew up as an orphan. So throughout the movie Freddy Provides the kills while his daughter provides the thrills. well, in the end, after a lengthy 3D sequence, Freddy is killed when his daughter stabs him wuth his own glove and is then blown up with a stick of dynamite. It closes to creidts after his daughter says "Freddy's Dead." Final Score:4.5/5 |
| Wes Craven's New Nightmare Review |
Well, this movie was a new and refreshing take on the "Nightmare" Franchise. It brings back Fan favorite Heather Langenkamp for starters, so thats a plus. Basically, Heather is playing herself, and this movie is made to be like a documentary. Basically, in the movie,Freddy is a demon, who after they ended the "Nightmare" franchise with part 6, was set free into the world. And now he is after Heather, the girl who played Nancy and stopped the fake Freddy in the first nightmare. The real freddy, sporting a new look,of course, is killing those around her, including her makeup FX husband, and some of her friends including Julie, her sons Babysitter. Well, now, hes after her son,Dylan, who used to just sleepwalk, but now sleepwalks with knifes taped to his figures and walks around in circles, chanting the familiar "One,two, freddy's coming for you." Then in the end, Heather goes all the way to Hell by following pills her son left her to find him, and she crawls in his bed and goes under the covers, and shortly discovers hell. I guess she found her little sons porno stash, lol jk. Well, after,a battle, she is able to kill him,and she recieves the script for the movie that wes craven was writing for her, that was gonna be a final nightmare movie for the fans. its named "Wes Craven's new Nightmare" and she starts to read the script to her son, when we close for credits. Overall, this was a fresh and awesome turn to reinvigorate the "Nightmare on Elm Street" Franchise.
Final Score:5/5
