Things Learned

This page is just things learned and warnings. First up is setting up your table for the fuselage jig. If I were to start over I would have never had these screws hanging ove the edge of the table. I don't know how many times I ran into these things. They really draw blood easily. This is just to much table available to rick a nasty gash across your belly.

This one is a warning about your clamps. I was and am using a lot of those nylon clamps. I had some and I also bought some off of ebay. The ones I got from ebay are not made as well as the ones I had. I have had 5 already break and go flying. In the picture you can see a few that I keep to take this picture. As far as them breaking under stress, some broke in my hands just opening them under an inch and some broke in my face once I let go of them.It was a good thing I did have my safe glasses on because it left a mark on my forehead.

Now I do know this picture is bad but You get the idea.
Be very careful with the T-88 after it dries...IT"S VERY SHARP!!!

In this one there is a lesson to learn. Check and recheck that you have everything inline and braced very well before you go to bad. Or this is what it will look like when you wake up.
