T-Bone Boerboels

I have researched many breeds out there and have had a fair bit of experience with many types of dogs. I have chosen the Boerboel because of its ability to guard and protect. The appearance of the breed shows power and dominance, its physical make up is not like your usual mastiff. It is said that this breed is able to move like a lion and its fearless character shows no bound in serving and protecting its family to the end. 

I have had many dogs from Pit Bulls to German Pointers, American Bulldogs and many mixed breeds. Mixing breeds in the pased was a technique used in order to breed specific characteristics in dogs, for example you have hunting dogs, Retrievers, toy dogs, farm dogs, fighting dogs, sled dogs, guard dogs and many more dogs with useful working abilities.

From one of these specialised breeding programs came the Boerboel, which in my opinion has to be one of the most successful programs which the world has come across.
