Tony Tokunbo Fernandez - Writer, Poet, Online Editor and Community Consultant
Tony was born in South London, UK . He started writing at the tender age of nine, a habit he expressed with creative enthusiasm. Tony writes Poetry, Plays, Proverbs and Short stories and has recently developed a keen interest in Self- Coaching, Personal Development and the Novel.
He completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at The University of Lagos, Nigeria in English and World Literature. He later went on to attain a teaching qualification at The Frances King International Training Institute, South Kensington London, it was here he studied Teaching English as a Foreign Language. He also studied Web Design at The City University in London and has organised and produced performances enhanced with flair, depth and an unusual hint of creativity. The Artist also writes for Websites in the UK and Nigeria. He published his first book in June 1999 called "The Beauty in the Dark" ( A Collection of Poetry which received critical acclamation in many circles around the world). He is in the process of writing another book called "Be your own Role Model", (A booked aimed at inspiring the young generation into great heights of moral and social development). Tonys aim in life is to inspire the young generation and to encourage the youth to make the very best of their dreams and aspirations, He has published a 2nd book called " The Sound of Running Water" - A Family gift book of proverbs and quotations on Personal Development.
Besides the fact that the Artist has won International online awards, he is mostly inspired by Life experience, love, music and cultural awareness. Tony has a huge appetite for Life, A profound fascination for the history and philosophy that influence people and cultures, but most importantly a natural willingness to listen, share and learn.

He is also the Creative Director for Another Cool Creation

7th of September 2008 - Special Guest Speaker on BBC Radio Berkshire where I had the opportunity to talk about My 2nd Published book "The Sound of Running Water" . Also engaged in literary discussions and issues within the black community to do with personal development.
August 2008 - Published my 2nd book - "The Sound of Running Water" - A Family Gift book of quotations and proverbs for the whole family.
31st of October 2007 - Appeared on Front page of Bracknell Times as a follow up for organising The International Exhibition of Cultural Awareness
27th of October 2007 - Organised The International Exhibition of Cultural Awareness as part of Black History Month and bringing people together from different communities. This was held at the Forest Park Community Centre in Bracknell
24th of October 2007 - Helped organise A Spoken Word Workshop which was led by Beyonder from Apples and Snakes. This was held at the Coopers Hill Community Centre.
October 2007 - Special Guest Speaker on BBC Radio Berkshire where I had the opportunity to read poetry and engage in literary and social discussions. I also spoke about the events I was organsing for Bracknell History month in Bracknell and my next book due to be launched in 2008
29th of September 2007 - I was the MC for The Opening Event of Black History Month in Bracknell. The Mayor was in attendance to grace the occassion. There was also Steel Bands, Music, Drama and Poetry.
April 2007 - Special Guest Speaker on BBC Radio Berkshire where I had the opportunity to read poetry and engage in literary and social discussions on Community events and the book I was working on.
October 2006 - Organised and promoted half of the performance events and communication workshops for Black History Month in Bracknell.
August 2006 - Organised and promoted The Small World network arts exhibition which took place at the Tea house in Bracknell Town Centre.
May 2006 - Special Guest Speaker on UK's Number 1 African Radio Station - Voice of Africa
2006- Featured in BBC World Radio news on a Sports discussion
2003 - Took part in promoting an Online music porject called "Africa on your Street" for the Senior management of B.B.C Radio 3 Berkshire.
2000 - Launched an African Arts Online Magazine called Africa Awakening
2000 - Was a semi-finalist winner for a Poetry Compertion organised by POETRY.COM
