All You Need To Know...

Tayshaun Prince... Just a little over a year ago he wasn't near as famous as he is today but after he blew up in the 2003 NBA play offs he's practically a household name, LOL. Racking up points for the Pistons over this past season and doing big things in the play offs both of his two years, Tay deserves every ounce of fame he has! As my Spanish teacher (who toutered him at UK) puts it, Tay came from one of the WORST neighborhoods in America.. Compton, California... and made something of himself... Something great! Now winning an NBA Championship and making it big in the NBA, Tayshaun has something to be proud of. I've been a fan of his for years since I first saw him playing for UK. Tayshaun's my favorite basketball player! He is an acceptionally well-rounded player who has the moves, (not to mention the looks... if that counts for anything!) I got nothin but for love for this boy, and I decided to create him a lil fan page, he definintly deserves it... enjoy.

Strengths: Super long arms help him to make hard shots when going to the basket and once there he has no problems switching hands for the lay-up... His height allows him to shoot over most defenders. A very quick first step to the basket. He makes good free throws and sees the court well, making him very hard to double team... Good passer, can shoot a good 3 point shot and get hot in a hurry... Can consistantly make a 16 feet jumper.

"We Are the Champions"

Detroit Pistons - 2004 NBA Champions

On Tuesday June 15th, 2004 the Detroit Pistons won the NBA Finals, beating the Los Angeles Lakers 100-87 in a 4-1 series.. The game was won in Detroit at the Pistons' Palace of Auburn Hills. Chauncey Billups, #1 for the Pistons won Finals MVP. Tayshaun once said he would rather have a championship than League MVP, looks like he has his wish! Even Coach Larry Brown didn't predict the Pistons making it to the Finals, let alone winning a championship but this is a team with heart!!! WHOOO! Good job Pistons!
