Tawa lodge is a farmstay concept. Autawa farm is 2200 acres of mixed country, with access to the Waitara river and Makino stream. We provide visitors with a glimpse into the many aspects of farming life.
We are happy to provide peace and quiet, pleasant surroundings and a soothing experience. If it’s the sound of the tuis and Californian grouse you crave—come visit. If you want somewhere to park your Kayak—come visit, or if you just want a little slice of heaven, give us a call.
The room rate is NZ$100 + GST ( Goods and Services Tax) per night. This provides you with a self contained unit with basic cooking facilities. The room features a queen sized bed, generous lounge area with fold down couch, and en suite bathroom. You have your own access point and parking area. The room can sleep a maximum of four adults. Fold out beds are also available for children. Breakfast, evening meal and farm tours are all available by arrangement
