Walk-in at Hyderabad ? April 1, 2007 - Service Desk Technologist Desired Profile : We are looking for fresh graduates (B.Sc. (any branch), B.Com or BCA; batch 2003-2006 or batch 2004-2007) for openings of 'Service Desk Technologist' in India Delivery Centres. The key responsibilities of a Service Desk Technologist include: - Taking ownership for the co-ordination, investigation, and documentation of customer requests, issues, and problems. - Acting as the primary point of contact for the customer. - Ensuring that correct resolutions are discovered and involving appropriate parties in resolving problems when needed. - Performing incident notification and escalation - Performing follow up on incidents to ensure customer satisfaction - Developing and maintaining product knowledge, business, and professional skills by participating in on-the-job and other training courses. - Actively participating in preventive maintenance, by documenting common problems and scripts for customer support. - Developing and maintaining knowledge of Remedy (incident tracking system), Central Support Knowledge Base and of the help desk's procedures and business environment. - Seeking opportunities to improve knowledge, skills, and performance and is receptive to constructive feedback. - Working independently and maintaining a high degree of professional conduct at all times - Developing and maintaining technical skills and understanding of the CIO Technology Services Help Desk - Demonstrating understanding of the customer's business needs and ability to achieve and maintain high customer satisfaction ratings. - Working with others on own team and external groups to build relationships and quickly resolve escalation issues when they arise.
