A thimble unless you want very sore finger tips (i learned from experience on this one) TIP: if  your ball starts to unravel or fray just spray with a little bit of hairspray it will keep the ends together. lp = long picot                                   SSR = Small Split Ring sp = small picot                                 LSR: Large Split Ring dnr = Do NOT RW   These are worked off the ball.
