President: The president delegates all responsibility, and thus doing nothing.
At the same time, a president is aware of all that is happening and makes
done and is done well, thus doing everything. The president has the responibility to attend Temple Sinai Board Meetings whenever possible.He or she will also recieve access to all financial documents and meet with the treasurer and advisor frequently.
Treasurer: The treasurer is responsible for the financial side of TASTY. He/she will hold a TASTY Debit Card and purchase and run the TASTY Store located in the Hebrew school. The treasurer will also pay the region when needed and organize fundraisers and plan events with other board members. (I.E. The Purim Carnival)
Programming VP: The programing vice president will help organzie and create events for TASTY. He/she will also try to make local TYG's events. The Progaming VP will also keep up to date with NFTY Regional events and promote local and regional events to all members.
Social Action VP: Social Action VP will help organize community service and Mitzvah Day activites. He or she will promote community service and try to involve members with the regional Walk For Hunger with NFTY.
Religious and Cultural VP: The RCVP will organize and plan services and any religious activities. He/she will need to write services and plan and events having services involved.
Membership VP: The Membership VP will promote TASTY and recruit members. He/she will help mail mebership forms out and promote TASTY to everyone and anyone. This is a vital role in TASTY
Secretary: The secretary is repsonsible for taking brief notes from the meetings and posting and editing flyers and other event info on online pages (I.E. Facebook)\
NFTY Rep: The NFTY Rep is responsible for alerting TASTY about any upcoming NFTY regional events. This board position holds a voting position on the NFTY-NE regional board. We would like this board member to attend as many regional events as possible.
Historian: The historian is responsible for taking pictures and supplying images towards the Temple and specifically our TASTY bulletin board located in the school wing. The historian should own a digital camera.
Webmaster: The webmaster will update the website. No need for web development skills anymore. Josh has redesigned the site which now allows any one to update the site in a "paragrpah" set up. Josh has made a template for TASTY and anyone can now update it. Please talk to Josh if you are interested.
