Welcome to the site of Tastes Like Newsprint Distribution, a not-for-profit distributor of independent publications. When we say "we," there's something sketchy going on. A couple people are at work here, but not really. ELI (_emily_) is the girl that does everything these days. She reviews submissions, maintains this site, sends out orders, and does the general wheelings and dealings involved in running a zine distro. Richie Bella is ELI's second identity. He doesn't really exist except on Halloween and when she wants to terrorize the town. Dave was psyched about starting the distro but beyond handing out flyers to his friends, he hasn't done much. Rossi does absolutely nothing except getting into Brown and pretending to review zines. He designed an ad once. Eve is the guru. Mostly the relationship guru, but she's really just "the guru" for whatever needs to be...guru-ed? |
