A day in Shenzhen
The whole time Claire and B were here, the weather pretty much sucked! One rainy, miserable Sunday we decided to do something different....we caught the KCR to Lo Wu, crossed the border and went into Shenzhen. It wasn't that different from walking around a mall in HK but it reminded Row and I of Shanghai...."Meesy, meesy, Lolex, cheap cheap!" "You want Louis Vuitton, come wif me." Claire, B and I decided to buy some DVDs so we walked around until someone whispered "DVDs" to us and we followed them into a golf shop. But then they heard the police were coming so we were herded into a tiny shop where they closed all the shutter doors so it seemed as if the shop was closed. We proceeded to choose our DVDs and then the guy spoke into his walkie-talkie and some guy sitting in the roof had to get the DVDs, crawl along the air con ducts and drop it into the shop.......we didn't end up getting the DVDs though. We quickly grabbed some food and then went for body massages.....
