Anytime you buy a puppy from us, I will guarantee that he is genetically healthy and has a sound  temperament. With the proper love and care, he will grow up and be a longtime companion for you and your family. Our average life expectancy is 14 to 17 years.

We offer a first year genetic health guarantee on all our puppies..... In writing as well as a 10 viral guarantee. It says that your puppy will not have life threatening congenital defects concerning heart, brain or internal birth defects. We strive to produce sound healthy dogs and if for some reason we fail in that promise, we will gladly exchange your puppy for a healthy one. 

Our viral guarantee protects you from hidden contracted illnesses such as Parvo, Distemper or Corona Virus. It takes 7 to 14 days for an animal to show symptoms of an illness that is already there. An animal that appears healthy at first can already be sick. We know our animals are healthy and virus free and will back this guarantee 100%. You will have to follow the instruction on the contract to recieve this guarantee.

I do not include an alteration clause in the buyer contract or limit your registration, if any, as I feel that when you purchase your dog, he is yours. I will talk to you about the benefits of spay or neuter if you are not a breeder, because it is an important benefit your pet can have. This may change in the future but it is this way for now.

Adoption Requirements:

I do look for suitable homes. My puppies don't go home with just anyone. I don't deny you a puppy because you have children or you live in a condo or apartment. Children are the best for socializing a new puppy and Chihuahuas do very well in small home areas. This is the whole logic behind a toy breed. However potential adopters will have to tell me a little more about they're family and situation for the best possible fit to their lifestyle. A quiet person who likes stretching out on the couch and relaxing, wouldn't want a yappy excitable dog. You wouldn't want an energetic dog that cant sit still long enough for you to relax, right? Where as an active person that is always on the go wouldn't want a dog that gets nervous around people, or would rather sleep all afternoon in the sun.

Deposits and purchase:

When buying a dog from me you will either need a Paypal account (for deposits only, maximum $200), personal check or cash.  I do take personal checks for full payment, but require a 10 day clearing period, unless it is cashed directly at your bank upon request.When your puppy is ready to be picked up you must pay in cash the remaining balance. Checks are convenient for deposit holds, but will otherwise delay immediate take home options. Deposits are now non-refundable

Transfer of Deposit:

If you decide that you are not ready for a puppy, in light of life changes; new baby, financial crises, family crises etc... anything that may delay your ability to properly take care of a new puppy, I will allow transfers of deposits to friends or family members, pending adoption approval. However if you would just like to choose a puppy at a later date that is perfectly accepatable. You may wait up to 6 litters, which is close to two years, for a puppy that suits your fancy.

I do not ship my puppies unless your willing to fly in and pick him.
