Tartuffe Cavies

Black Tans of Character and Distinction

Hermes of Tartuffe

Errol is one of the four litter brothers from the famous 'Rocky' the tort and white boar belonging to Linda Dollar.  Errol is very dark, and so is not likely to be shown.  he will stay at the Stud until someone very special turns up to take him home.  if that special someone doesn't come forward then he will be used with a red sow that Tartuffe hopes to aquire this year to have a bit of a 'go' with the Tortoiseshell line, on the kindly advice and encouragement  of  Ted Brearley!

Artemis of Tartuffe

Rusty is the last of the four tort boys brought in from Linda Dollar.  he has the same parentage but is a chocolate agouti bi-colour and very handsome with it!  Obviously he will not be used anywhere near the Tortoiseshell lines as the agouti markings are a big no-no! but he is a very striking looking cavy and may well make an appearence on the pet benches.

Ganymede of Tartuffe

Charlie is a gorgeous tort boy that comes from Linda Dollar (does she produce them or what?) and is going to head up the Tortoiseshell showing team in 2006.

Java Rhett Butler of Tartuffe

Rhett is a crested marten sable boar from Crystal Cavies, he is a very quiet, reserved boy that has the devilish good looks of his namesake!  Rhett will be coming out to some shows this year to advertise this as yet un-standardised breed of rare variety cavy.

Rhett came second to his mate Scarlet in the RV challenge at Broadlands Show -not a bad result for his first time out!
