All Tartuffe Cavies offered for sale are sold healthy and free from infestation. All cavies are reared in a draft free and hygenic environment, and the entire stud is open to public scutiny and official inspection. Any Tartuffe cavy can be returned to the stud if it is found to be unwanted, as long as it is healthy and the reason for return is acceptable. These small animals put their trust in us larger ones to care for them responsibly.
Tartuffe Cavies are never released to their new owners before six weeks of age. babies can be reserved with a small holding deposit.
Anybody interested in obtaining breeding stock from the RV lines of Tans, Foxes and Sables can leave their details on a waiting list and will be contacted in order as and when stock becomes available.
Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will Tartuffe Cavies consider selling any cavy as a companion to a rabbit, as I firmly believe that the two should not be mixed, even if others I am told, have done so sucessfully.
No Tartuffe cavy is sold for research purposes, although the stud does not condem those who have historically used cavies as a means for research and development. No Tartuffe cavy is sold to children without permission , or even adults until they can satisfy the stud that sufficient arrangements and accomodation has been put in place.
All Tartuffe Cavies, be it Pet or Purebreed are sold with a small amount of feed in order to facilitate an adjustment to the new owners regime.
