~*~*~*~  ~*~*~*~

Welcome to the Pinnacle! I am so glad that you stopped by my little abode on the web! I am honored that you have come and hope that you thoroughly enjoy your stay here with me!

I am a VERY amateur writer and don't claim to have a ton of talent, but this is my little corner of the web for the things I write; and I very much hope you shall enjoy my scratchings immensely! I also adore artwork and have sprinkled some of mine in here too!

The website name is the actual meaning of my name, Tara, and a nice big rock sounded like a good place where people would enjoy stopping to ponder things, and thoughts; so hence the name I chose. I would LOVE to get comments, suggestions and feedback from my visitors!

Everyone is welcome to my site! And thank you once again for coming! Come back as often as you like! Browse at your leisure and enjoy. My art and creations are scatered throughout here with the work of others, and I think You will be able to tell the differnce. =)

A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons. It also can present a vivid mental image and suggest a great insight while evoking an emotional responce and mood.

"Sacred Prayer"

(T.C. Hackney 2-8-04)

Dark, sad eyes lifted,

On her knees she prayed alone.

Sad, sacred moment.

"Alone"

(T.C. Hackney 1-27-04)

I walk silently.

My thoughts my companion;

For silence is golden.
